Definitely the CSL's. They look more authentic. Theres no point pretending its an M6 !!

I've been doing this 18-19 thread and I think your right 19" is the way to go! Something like 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear.

This is going to upset some people but theres a set of lovely 19" 5 Series wheels I'm thinking about!

M6 vs CSL vs Beyern Mesh

M5 wheels look nice, but a little odd on the E90.

My other choice, which I'm not sure about is the Beyern Mesh - be a nightmare to clean and maybe a little too bling bling, but they look cool ???

BBS Rims

I do like BBS rims, my favourite are these RS GTs - actually prefer these to the Beyern rims... I could get these instead, without the red centre caps of course ???

That's exactly the ones I would get - they are a perfect offset and good company to deal with too !!!

Do you think they look too in your face / aftermarket ?

Nearly made up my mind... and the winner is... none of the above !

Call me a freak, but want to make sure I make the right decision... wheels can make or break the appearance of a car IMO. I can't help thinking the deep dish BBS / Beyern polished rims are going to pit, scratch and get knackered very quickly - especially with our gritted /salty roads in the winter. I also think they may look a little too bling !

So my favourite wheel of the week is... the classic Alpina wheels. They look like they came from the BMW factory too !

Here are a couple of pics on dark coloured cars, with SE suspension - I would of course go for 19" staggered rims

I really do fancy M6 wheels
I am about to order M6 reps 18x8 on et 20 for my e90
I am bit worried about offset, but seller guarantees that they will fit perfect and will fill up arches perfectly. Seller also told me that he fitted on many e90, and no problems.

Sorry not you that was aimed at Butch! Check the offset in the wheel section and you will be able to see how much further they will be out and then you can check yourself

Did you mean "Sorry not you that was aimed at Bakili" ???

ET 20 wouldn't fit on front I don't think.

Really liking the Alpina...

Sorry mate, but I think the Alpinas look awful!

Id much rather have the M6 - Yes I know its not an M6 but its not an Alpina either, so what does that matter!!

As you know, best option is go to with whatever floats YOUR boat, its your money after all!!
