The Hood insulation is gone for the 328, apparently they still put it on the 335, My sister has a base 328 from 2007 with no packages and has insulation

Not anymore. You cant push your thumb into a PreLCI E90 but you can definitely see the impression that you make when you push your thumb into the fender of an E90. Its not metal.
