ive had this happen a couple times too. dont take my word on this but i think it only happens if you've locked your car and the trunk is still open. for example, after you go grocery shopping, you pop the trunk and get out of the car. you close you car door and lock it via remote. the car doesnt beep/flash yet cause not all doors are closed. get your stuff out of the trunk and then close it and it will beep/flash. then only after these times will i have the issue of my trunk saying it is still open when i start the car and drive off...anybody else remember the likelyhood of this happening with them too?
