I picked up around ~35-40awhp/55-60awtq (mustang) or so peak. the big difference is up top where the stock turbos fell flat, these hold more boost to redline. it pulls so hard up top towards 7k rpms

the main reason I went for these turbos arent just the added power, but more power to redline. Id rather have more consistent power through the power band and up top. Not too mention Id have to run race gas to run 18 psi +...or just risk my turbos and retard timing lol. With stock turbos I would shift at around 6200 rpm on my auto tranny .Im wondering how much these turbos will be tapering too. 12-13 psi for AT? |

I won't say that you NEED a wastegate upgrade, but as it's a known weakness of the N54 I believe it's a good idea to improve these at the same time; at least if you want to keep your car for a longer period of time. Remember: If you don't have wastegate problems now, that does not mean you'll never have them - and then you'll have to go through the trouble of removing the turbos again and having work done on them. ^^ I totally agree. the only thing that scares the hell outta me is the work that has to be done on the oil and water lines to fit the TD upgrades. Any body knows a good mechanic that can do extensive work on N54 in Socal?

probability? its fact!!! All you need is tune, dps, intake, FMIC and youll be taking m3's all day in a straight line. With meth, an m3 would have no chance. with upgraded turbos its even worse. the m3 has to be boosted or atleast full bolt ons. |

I can 100% guaruntee an upgraded turbo car would destroy a bolted on m3. A tune only car can take the m3 up to 120 after that you need dp's, intercooler, and more boost. A supercharged m3 vs an upgraded turbo n54 would be interesting to see.

Ehhhhhh, Turbo upgrades cost a lot of $$$...I doubt people would have enough money left over to buy downpipes and an intake... They'll probably just run bone stock everything with just the turbo upgrades. |

that pricing is per turbo, multiply it by 2 and consider international shipping costs. it gets very pricey for US customers. that's why I went with EPL

The quoted price is for one turbo only, and does not include VAT.
Edit: jp was faster ;-)
