Noob question but are there different types of ZCP? Is it the same as the BMW performance springs or suspension? Where did you get them from? I'm largely considering this but so far I have only been looking at coilovers.

I ask you specifically because we have pretty much the same car and live in the same area!
To be honest I am not entirely sure...

If I am not mistaken the Performance Springs is thicker than the ZSP. (not sure what ZCP :/) I got the springs from one of the members.

I was thinking of coilovers too but not sure but I don't want to lower/raise the car. I will be happy with the "stock i" height for as long as its lower than the "xi" I will be happy. Coilovers is great if you want to adjust height and or the rebound and stuff like that.

Oh I see...Yeah I think we're along the same lines, I don't want to lower or slam my car, just want the car to be similar to stock m-sport non-xi height, especially at the front. Are you worried about voiding warranty with the springs though?

Thanks

Not really that much, since its rare to have issues with suspension.

it won't give you much of a drop, there was a thread a while back with xi on zsp springs.

i just ordered eibach pro-kit springs for 237 shipped and i think that's the best drop out there for a xi. i'm getting my rims/tires mounted saturday and hopefully the springs the following week. bilsteins will be at a later time

IMO is that this set up will not fix the substantial rake issue with the xi. It will lower the rear almost too much if you have luggage etc. while still leaving a few inches in the front. After months of research I'm going with coils to get the better ride and the drop and rake the same as an i model.
