The A5 is a nice design, but it still has that suppository look that, somehow, only clicks on sedans. If I chose a car to be violated by, the A5 would win hands down. Especially with the M or Aero bumper... ouch. I'd say that the poll was heavilly linked by some Audi forum, and the A5 will most likely not be that agressive in non s/RS form, especially if the base is <V8. Now poll with aznevoviii's e92 as that's how the 335 should have looked if BMW didn't dumb it down as a marketing strategy.

Camry II

I still think the A5 looks like a Camry Solara. Not impressed.
The side shot comparo with the camaro included also shows a more fluid and decisive profile for both the chevy and the 335, imo. I just don't get the buzz in this thread for the A5--but its such a soft, subjective metric anywhooooooooooooo

Question is, where's the competitor to the 335 coupe? The S5? Well, I'm sure it will be a lot more expensive.

A little weird lineup from Audi if you ask me. Unless I'm missing something.
That is what I was wondering too - will they have competitive powerplants?

Then I read on another forum that the A5 will get a V8 as well. In other words this car will get the engines from the A6 (255hp V6, 350hp V8), rather than those from the A4 (200hp I4, 255hp V6). This is just rumor of course. But it makes sense if you think about it - its an in between model like the Mercedes CLK which, similarly, gets the E class engine lineup rather than the C class engine lineup. If this is how it plays out, then I think we will also see CLK-like pricing, i.e. entry price over $45k.

As for the S6, its likely to get the 420hp V8 from the RS4 and R8, or I suppose there is a chance we'll see the 450hp V10 as per the S6.

The Audi looks better, but it looks like someone cheated with the design...

Strange how the 335 has 189's in the top pic and 230's in the bottom. Same plate #.

YES!!! I like the look of the Audi but the hate how the line is like an "M" shape rather than the straight flowing line of the BMW.

I highly doubt the entry level V6 verstion will be priced in the $45K range. That means a well optioned V8 will be in the mid 50's. No thanks, I'll take the M3.

Sad to say, but I voted Audi as better-looking.

If I were buying a coupe, though, no question I'd buy the 335i instead of the A5. I just have to admit the A5 is purty.

I have to say that the Passat Coupé is not bad

I'm also warming up to the Hyundai Sonata front, Tiburon line & Lexus LS 470 rear lights.

Great job Audi

P.S.: Let's see what the sales numbers say in a few months.

I'm a current Audi owner (not for long), always loved they're style until most recent changes, the nose being the biggest dissapointment. The A5 is a long time coming, it's okay looking but I'm definately glad I didn't wait and instead ordered my 335i coupe! It's pretty obvious where my vote goes but I thought it was kind of sad after reading the audi forum link posted above, how biased can you get? Same can be said here I guess, really pointless to argue.
