That's what I've always been told.

I hear ya.

I work for a company headquartered in Greenville, about 5 minutes from BMW USA. A local told me that BMW stands for "Bubba Makes Wheels". Now THAT's a new one, and just a bit frightening!

xi's are from Munich plant only, I believe.

Only a small portion of US bound cars are ex Rosslyn (N plant). The majority hails from Munich (A) and Regensburg (P) and now more and more from Liepzig (V) - BMW's newest and most modern plant.

I also believe that most Priority-One cars are ex Germany.

Cars from Rosslyn are shipped direct to US, it doesn't go through Germany.

E93/93s are from Regensburg and E91s and xi's are more likely to be made in Munich.

Well if you look at recent Super 14 results , it's the South Africans who are doing the beating

If you get a RHD car, you'll know it was assembled in South Africa!

True that. We'll also do well in the upcoming tri-nations and world cup.

Guys, the quality of cars coming out of Rosslyn is world class. The plant has actually won numerous quality awards.

China also makes Audi, VW, Honda, Toyota, GM for its domestic market
