I had a similar incident recently when I was coming home from work on 295 N. Traffic was jam packed. Out of NOWHERE a Porsche 911, a Corvette, and a GT500 came blowing by. All 3 were weaving in and out of traffic and at one point the 911 went into the break down lane (which is filled with melting snow and sand at the moment and I legit thought the guy was going to hit the snow causing him to spin out and die) in order to pass a truck.
I was so pissed because I’m an adrenaline junky myself (I’ve raced motocross my whole life, I’ve done a few drag races in a buddy’s Buick GN in Epping, and a couple rally clubs races in my brothers WRX in Conn) but I would never do stupid reckless shit on the streets. People who drive like D-bags on the street are sackless jelly fish who are probably beatin’ by their wives or bosses, so the only time in their life they have control over anything is when they are in a vehicle.

nope. I was talking about 335D's, not any diesel. You only assumed I was asking about diesels in general. I'd say 120 is pretty fast also.

OK I know this is a dumb question, but how do you call in something like that? Do you call 911?

Look, I think I am trying to voice some reason here (of course, reason is really only for the reasonable, and SOO many are NOT).
Yes, we all want to do 120 OR FASTER. Its great. Hot nasty speed And there is nothing wrong with it, so long as you do so responsibly. Also, TRUST me, it is sickening, but there are plenty of 17 and 18 year olds with AMGs and everything else under the sun. While plenty of oldies drive bad too, it seems that human nature is less refined at the younger ages. But if you, including previous posters, don't see the problem with going that fast IN TRAFFIC, you sir, deserve to be punished severely. No license, no car, no hands or feet for that matter! Speed is the NUMBER ONE issue associated with deadly accidents. GO TO THE TRACK WHERE YOU BELONG. THERE IS NO EXCUSE, JUSTIFICATION, OR "ITS SOO COOL, BRO" THAT WILL CONVINCE ANY DECENT HUMAN THAT YOU DON'T DESERVE TO GO TO JAIL! TO JAIL!!!!!! Soccer moms and many others, all of us included from time to time, can be sloppy drivers and make mistakes. But this is a whole new level. You are KNOWINGLY and WILLFULLY doing something that you KNOW will cause harm to others. I don't care if you want to kill yourself, BUT DON'T F^CK WITH A MAN WITH HIS FAMILY ON CROWDED PUBLIC ROADS. To the guy who said "jeez, bro, sound Harsh IMHO opinion, Bro, dang bro" WELL HOW DOES SCAPING YOUR 3 YEAR OLDS DEAD BODY OFF OF THE PAVEMENT SOUND. HARSH?? GROW THE EFF UP PEOPLE. I think this is a serious issue that is simply swept under the carpet. Last point in my rant, the Autobahn is the Autobahn. And there are rules. One, it is engineered to a completely different standard to allow for higher speeds. And two, if you are involved in an accident travelling over the base speed (usually similar to our speed limits) you face enhanced penalties. Pay to play. After using caps to get the seriousness of the point across, I see how annoying they are. |

If you think that driving an M3 means that you are:
1. Rich 2. A race car driver Put your money where your mouth is and get a track membership or some professional training. It can be quite a humbling experiece to show up at a track with an M3 (of Porsche or Corvette) and get your clock cleaned by a Miata or a Neon driven by someone who know what he/she is doing. CA

OP here again,
To those wondering about the age of the drivers.........sure I did not see the face of each and every one, nor did I get a chance to ask them for their birth certificate. However, each and every driver and passenger I did see was under 30, in my opinion. For the record, I'm 45, have great eyesight, love driving fast too, just not willing to do it with others in the way. Passing on the right at way over 100 mph is never ok on a public road. He really blew by, like I was waiting at a light and he was in another lane with a green signal. Beautiful cars being driven by careless kids. I hope no one got hurt.
