Premium gas is just more refined gas. Refining costs are fixed and are not related to the cost of the oil that is used to make the gas. That's why you don't see the price difference between regular and premium change with rising fuel costs.

I just pumped gas this weekend $91 for 59 Litres and I always pump 94 at Petro Canada. I get about 450-600KM on a full tank depending on my driving style.

I might be going to NYC next month so I will let you guys know how much KM I can get on full tank highway only.

I don't even bother checking gas prices these days. I just fill up and go.

What's your route like? I was just there and the drive was insane with all the potholes. I couldn't imagine taking a lowered car like yours on those roads.

Highway mileage should be great though... I did a lot of highway driving today and got a 12.9l/100km! A record low for me...
