I think it sank - or dropped anchor or something. No report-in for almost 3 days now and not showing up on AISLive.com. They were originally projected to arrive today but appeared to be moving faster than that. Maybe the ship had to slow down to meet the port schedule of today ... I sure hope so. I also checked the WW site again for the schedule, and noticed they added another schedule for the North American side of their voyage. On that schedule, they pushed the NY arrival back a day to the 21st...

Just found this on the Port of Halifx's Daily Report:
"AUTOPORT -- UNDINE -- (ETA 16:30) WALLENIUS WILHELMSEN LINES"

I think they are running behind now - must have been the weather.

I noticed the UNDINE NA schedule as well. But wasn't sure which one to believe. I sure hope it is the original one.

At least now we know it will be there today.

She's disappeared!

I cannot find the vessel anymore on AISLive and the schedule has been changed in WW site - one day delay now

This makes no sense - its doing circles outside the AIS radar. I watched some updates an hour ago and it was heading southeast away from Halifax. What possilbe reason could they have for gettin there and then turning away again?

BMW Canada has a backlog

Just got this from another post:

"spoke with mine today. He advised that their was a backlog of cars in halifax and that BMW Canada was trying to prioritize all the pre-sold cars for shipping. He thought that they would receive notice from BMW Canada on Monday with regard to delivery times. Take that info for what it is worth......I really do not think they know just exactly how the CN problems will effect deliveries."

Maybe the autoport where our vessel supposed to stop and unload in Canada run out of space for our vessel to unload. So our vessel had to circle around?
If so, that sure sucks. We may never know when it will get here. They should just skip Halifax and come straigh to NY.

Between the Halifax port and their rail problems (CN labor issues) and the weather this week being a factor in New Jersey, I bet they told the Undine to hold off for a day. I bet this type of thing happens all the time. It was in port in Halifax before going 'dark' late this morning. I'm hoping it sets sail again tonight. How many cars could they possibly be droping in Canada anyway? You said there were only like 300 BMWs on it and I'd predict most are for NY, Baltimore then Georgia as the schedule says....

Oh... there were 300 BMW that are dropping off at NY. Don't know about how many at Halifax. I believe the bill of landing is different for them so no way for me to figure out.

Anyway, that's no longer a problem cause it is on the way to NY. :rocks:

Sorry I am late to the Party. I've been tracking like a mother, I just didn't notice the thread. My car was also on the Undine. My dealer is only about 45 minutes with no traffic from the port. When I hear something I will let you guys know. That damn delay till Saturday pissed me off.

Hey this Guy ballzo car was discharged from Freedom the 14th in NJ and he got it Yesterday all the way in Virginia. This is pretty good news.

Welcome

Great, looking forward to hearing from you. Seems like you might be the first one off the UNDINE to get it.

Anybody talk to their dealership to ask when their car will be in? I just e-mailed mine, so I'll let you know what they say.

I called my CA today to discuss final payment numbers, but he was a bit unprepared as he wasn't expecting my call. He is off tomorrow but will be in for paper work so I told him its ok if we pick it up tomorrow.
I will let you know what happens.
We are in the final stretch guys I can't wait.

Cool

Just talked to my CA and she looked up my car, but said she can't see any status until it gets released from VPC to the trucking company. So she is as much in the dark as I am. She said she usually tells people 7-10 days from the day it arrives in port or maybe sooner. So the informationless wait continues....

I wonder if thats business days. If regular days that would mean we should get it no later than Monday.

LOL I just listened the 800# it went from in transit last night, to awaiting a shipping vessel. WTF? Maybe thats means it left the VPC and the message is screwed up. I read other people had the same problem and then they got the call shortly after. So I hope this is a good sign.
