Op, do your reasearch for a couple of months
Then decide to "chip" it or not
And ill say this a second time: the early 07s have forged internals unlike the newer n54s so your car is perfect(depending on build date)

And saying it a second time doesn't make it true. Your 07 and early 08's only have some forged internals....the cylinder head and piston are not (which are the most important part).

I predict you'll like it a lot! It's a tight fit without pulling off the front bumper, but it can be done. Makes it difficult to pop one of the clamps off the pipe from the turbo output to the FMIC Inlet (it has to be broken off at the joint on the clamp band), and you may need to remove your right front inner fender liner to tighten the new clamp (had to do this on mine). You want all the clamps to be VERY tight so as not to have any leaks.

appreciate it, i actually saw that and planned on reading it later when i had more time, but curious to why you said that. i have a friend who has absolute 0 knowledge of his car infact he took his car to a shop to get his black grills installed and he has a chipped 335i lol. does one's knowledge of engine work play a factor in chipping a car?
