I'll take some pictures and post it here. As for the rails, they do not wrap it and I think it looks better that way (keeping the rails clean). These guys also sell plastidip in a variety of colors for those interested. |

EDIT: Just saw your FS thread for a roof rack ok well if you plan to use it, then yeah its ok not to wrap it. EDIT 2: Realized your roof rack is already black, so does not need to be wrapped lol. Last edited by Havok_2011; 03-07-2013 at 11:51 AM.. |

to get everything done in 45 minutes, i wouldn't think they can wrap the rails. However, when I had my roof wrapped last year, I paid additional 20 for each side to get it done. I think it looks much better with the rails wrapped, took them a good 30-40 minutes though. Raj, post some pics if you have any!

Here are some pictures of the finished product.
I am happy with the end results. Can't wash car for 1 week and cant use touchless car washes for 1 month |

Got my roof wrapped today as well by these guys. To answer everyone's questions:
They are able to wrap the side rails but it cost me $15 extra for each side and it takes an extra 20 minutes. An extra $30 just for the rails was eh.. I thought it'd be included but considering I was already paying half the going rate for the project I went for it - I think it looks cleaner and my car is also white so the break in the lines from the front/back windshields to the roof would've been more noticable. As for the cold/weather, he said as long as the vinyl is applied in a temperature-controlled area (ie. not in the frigid, ball-shriveling cold, which it is - they have a nice garage) it'll do just fine. They did stress the no car wash thing for at least a week though. I'll never take my car through a touchless because I'm paranoid and don't feel like testing what those cleaning chemicals will do to the vinyl. Unless someone volunteers to be the Guinea pig lol To remove the shark fin, they used a very thin blade to cut through the 'oem' glue and the fin comes right off - it's just a plastic shell. The actual antenna underneath is only secured by a single torx screw which is easily removed. To replace the antenna they used double-sided tape (not sure what brand) - it's very secure though, no wobbling or wiggling. They wrapped the shark fin as well, no extra charge. Overall these guys are good. Friendly and they seem knowledgeable. My only complaint really is that the work took twice as long since they didn't budget their materials and ran out of the gloss back vinyl, using the last bit on the previous customer just before I came in. They also broke one of the small clips on one of the side rails when they removed it - not a huge deal since there's like 6 other clips holding the thing down but still a point loss for me. Last thing - after they finished I noticed a lot of scuff marks (equivalent of swirls) on the vinyl from the squeegee - he reassured me that they could be buffed out by 'standard car wax' (eg. meguiars), and the vinyl won't be stained by any wax. I'll have to wait a month or two to test that. Again, overall I'm very pleased with the results, especially considering the great price. I can post pics if people want to see it. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a wrap. They apparently do window tinting as well. Haven't seen the quality of their tint work yet though. And yes they also sell plastidip for $14 a can in a variety of colours/finishes, which is one of the best prices I've seen in Canada lol. Last edited by Kalidian; 03-06-2013 at 03:12 AM.. |

Good stuff. Go for the side rails imo, especially if your car is a lighter colour. Extra $30 is worth it imo with their promo. I'm completely indifferent on the side mirrors though lol, black wrapped or stock looks good either way on any colour car.
