Rear defogger problem - maybe

# When operating the rear window defroster, the top of the window does not defrost. The top 3 lines in the rear defroster grid (1) are not heating elements. These lines are the AM aerial antenna wires.

# This unheated area is wider on the window of the E93 and may therefore be more noticeable than other vehicles.

# This is the intended function and no corrective action should be taken.

Am only? Is the Fm in the fin?

Not sure, but FM antennas are generally a lot smaller than AM, for identical signal reception quality.
