What an upset! Brazil looked poised to cruise to victory, scoring early in the first half. But after conceding an own goal equalizer at the start of the second half, Brazil took a nose dive. It was a total psychological breakdown. The Dutch scored again midway through the second half, and Melo, who was responsible for the own goal, took out his frustration by fouling Robben and then stomping on him while he was down, leading to a straight red card ejection from the game.

All in all it was a disaster for Brazil, but you can't discredit the Netherlands, who played well under pressure to come back from the early goal and take the win.

Netherlands never got down after conceding the first goal..took it to Brazil all the way to the end. Well deserved Dutch victory! Nicely Done.. Brazil on the other hand became very negative once they got tied.

it wasnt an upset. lol netherlands is pretty damn good. I miss the good ole days of brazilian soccer with ronaldo, rivaldo, roberto carlos, and cafu. The past two world cups they havent been playing the same way as before. Too defensive and too reliant on the counter.

Yes of course. As long as the system rewards the players for embellishment, players will continue to take advantage of that. I don't really see a way around it, as it's sometimes unfair to ask the ref to discern whether a player is embellishing or not. Things happen pretty fast out there in real time, and some of these guys are artists at that stuff.
