Its not true Procede is a awesome product, but we do miss you Eugene from those of us who run the Procede....But i think Eugene like to play with his car and its his hobby i guess, so moving to another platform and giving us a unbias reviews is okay because for those of us who respect the dude, it will give us a chance to see what Eugene has to say!!

Things seemed to be fixed by the way Scalbert and Eugen posted, but then all the sudden he sells the Procede. I have mine out right now. I may have to just stay with v1.47 or v1.48 until this can be worked out. I need some reassurance here, as well as the rest of the Procede v2.0 users probably do. To be fair, I've never had one CEL or limp on v1.47.
I agree. Shiv will con't. to come out with better maps when needed.

One thing to take away from this is that one should pay attention to what Shiv states is the baseline settings. Boost creep, Spikes most should be fine as long as they are reasonable. If one is at the limit as far as detonation goes then it needs to be backed off. There is a difference between race cars and street cars. Race car if you blow the engine, burn a valve, etc then big deal you fix it. In a street car the consumer should understand what are the limits for their application. I believe Eugene wanted a system that was engineered to be like stock. This may not be possible without hardware changes like turbo sizing, wastegate changes etc. IMHO boost to 16psi with a target of 14 psi is no big deal. The supercharger crowd see our boost vary 4 psi or more just with temperature changes, and in general as long as we are not on the edge are engines run fine.

It would be nice to post up the email conversations as they would explain a lot. I've certainly learned my lesson.

No one asked me not to post up emails.

JK, I would never post someone else's email information without said person asking me to.

I think most of us get the picture. No real need for this.

Slightly OT, but one thing that continues to surprise me a bit is how much the piggyback industry is dominated by firms in the USA. The classic and upstart Euro aftermarket firms -- Alpina, Hartge, etc. -- are very quiet on this after their initial offerings. Point being that I find it interesting how many euro E90posters are using products from USA tuners. Vishnu in particular has a broad global market, from OZ to Singapore to RSA to Euro.

[QUOTE=remydlc;1748027]This does not smell good, m, more from robertrinaustin @ http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=305859

Look how many questions there are in this forum about Vishnu products and find how many times anyone from Vishnu actually post. Fortunately, there are plenty of helpful people on here, so Vishnu suport comes from its great customers.QUOTE]

This has always been my point about Shiv...he's quick to slander someone but he's never around to provide support. I have upset quite a few people chiming in on these forums when it's something about Vishnu...particularly when I own a JB2R system (that I love), but I still take offense to the way the product I chose to purchase was branded a "happy meal tune"...at least it's reliable and if a customer has an issue they get a response...no one hides or ignores the threads thinking it will go away. It appears Shivs customers are running for the woods...let's hope he follows! As I see it, and this is only my personal opinion, his product and business practices are not good for our community.
