Thanks for the welcome! I figured as much.. I'll just get the JB4 out when I take it in. Think it will matter for an oil change? If I clear the 'dealer codes' that is. I'll leave the DCI in and hope for the best. |

DCI should be fine for an oil change... but the JB3/4 may cause issues if they want it to.

Hi Guys, I have only a few months of the free maintenance program left, and looking for a cheaper alternative to dealerships to do regular maintenance on the car. I've heard about Koala Motorsports, but don't know how their prices compare to BMW dealerships. Any other indy shops around?

Koala's hourly rate is cheaper than BMWs. Another one to consider is Larchmere Imports. Both places are great, in my experiences.

Hey,
Just wanted to say Hey to all the fellow ohio E90 owners! Are there any shows/get-togethers in the columbus area? Does anyone else love snow drifting as much as I do? |

Booyah! Oh wait... that's something I probably shouldn't celebrate. Anyways, the news channels here said those are wrong, and Cleveland should be #1 way above Denver. Apparently their data was aggregated up to 2001, and in 2005 we had record snowfalls, bringing our 30 year avg up an additional 10"… to ~70"/year!

Check out OhioBimmers, that's where you'll hear more about local events and whatnot. We're putting together a caravan/hotel group right now for 4ngiefest in April, and getting ready for Timmayfest in June. We also try to set up a road rally or two and a couple picnics here and there. A lot of good guys that are always willing to help.

I am new to the forum. I live North of Dayton near Wright Patterson AFB. I would also like to tell those that live close to me that I have the Peake Research R5/FCX 3 reset tool. if some one wants to check their codes i am willing to help out and save them some money. I have a 2006 325i and am looking for some one close that may have the tool to check the SRS system. I need to find out what is causing the lights to come on and stay on.

hello everyone - i'm new to ohio and to owning a BMW. picked up my 2008 335i as CPO recently and am loving it.
I came from a 2009 Subaru STi (hatchback) and am struggling with the lack of utility with the BMW. I was debating between roof racks and a trailer hitch... both have their pros and cons obviously, and I've settled with wanting a hitch so I can add/remove my attachments and cargo easily (bikes most frequently), have the ability to put a small track/trailer with extra wheels, and transport all of my attachments to my next vehicle when the time comes to add a car or replace the 335. Does anyone know of a good hitch installer in Ohio? Preferably between Columbus and Cinci as I'm in Dayton/WPAFB area. Thanks for any suggestions! Matt |

I should send a bill to the city, because apparently I was plowing the streets on the way to work yesterday for free.

I hurt my back trying to lift a a salt bag the day before the snow storm. That gave me a reason to stay at home. Haven't got out of the house for almost two days. |

I've got the Thule roof rack, just haven't gotten around to using it yet. As far as not being able to access it easily enough...just lower your car

You are a funny guy! If I do that, I could use the front end of my car as a snowplow and run my own business...the possibilities!
