Takoi - not sure how far the NY dealer was from you seeing that you are situated in NJ - but you guys ever concerned about purchasing a car from a dealerhip hours away from home? I hear horror stories about people trying to get their cars serviced at local dealers they didn't buy the car from and they're getting crap server!

The thought crossed my mind about where I am going to service the car, but from reading the forums, I saw that many members were servicing their cars at dealerships other than the ones they purchased their cars at. The dealership is almost an hr away from me btw. I figured since I learned how to negotiate price and lease from the board that I could trust the board to find a good place to service my car.

The 330xi would come with more power, bigger brakes, bigger wheels (18" 162's), chrome trim, Logic7, and perhaps other things I'm forgetting. Not bad!
As long as it makes her happy since this would be for her. Just decide what is best for your situation and I hope you guys get the car you want. Its just I read on the board about someone complaining about the 325xi lacking power because it was carrying more weight than the 325i but I really am not sure since I never driven the teh 325xi. I suggest you do some research to see what other owners of the 325xi have to say and than talk to your woman and come to a decision I am sure people in these forums are willing to help. Hope you get a good deal and enjoy the ride.

Many places will not give loaners to people that didnt buy the car at their dealership. I heard my dealership will only give you ride home if you didnt buy your car there and is only getting it serviced. My boss and his friends all got their cars serviced there and they gave them a group ride home LOL. I suggest you try to find a place that will give you loaners and great service. Goodluck

Which dealership did you go to? My Invoice for the same car I ordered a few weeks ago was $41,975 w/o heated seats but with Comfort Access.

Before taxes, I got this for 42,000. It MSRPs for 44,545. It invoices, according to what I found on this site, for 40770. So I feel pretty good getting a pre-tax/fee price 1230 over invoice. Oh, she also waived the $1000 deposit to order, and so far got 7.5%. I just graduated and started my first job this week. What do you guys think?

Has anyone taken advantage of the $399/month for 36 months deal on a 325i?

The site shows $413/month based on $2500 down and a $33.6k MSRP (ZSP and metallic paint). I'd like a little more options (ZCW, ZSP, comfort access, xenons), which is around $32.5k invoice. Would it be reasonable to try and negotiate a $33.5k cap cost, and then try to get the same lease deal offered on the website?

Edmunds' lease calculator shows that $33.5k cap cost, with a 58% residual value, same down payment, same 10k mile restriction, and a money factor of .0030 is around a $100 more, or $516/month.

I was just talking to my CA earlier (here in So Cal) and he told me that he'd open a So Cal Group Buy for European Delivery with $1250 over ED Invoice (if we get more people he might even go lower than that) so if anyone is interested send me a PM so we can get a group going...

My 330i is en route. It's black sapphire metallic, beige leather interior, 6 speed, sport, premium, heated, sat prep, Nav/iDrive, floor mats... MSRP 44270. Paid 41750. Thought I got a good deal, but probably could have done better. They gave me more than I expected on my trade, and it stunned me. I think they knew it when it happened. I like to think I'm a good haggler, but you could tell when they dropped the number on me - they read it, I was done.

I had half a mind to cancel my order and upgrade to the 335i sedan, but I don't want to wait two more months and spend $5k more.

I just spent 4 hours today negotiating a deal on a new 330i for my girlfriend. Dealer told me that there were new lease rates available for month of August. After everything was said and done, we arrived at the following:

330i with Prem, auto, sport, and heated seats MSRP $42,870
Wouldnt inch anymore below $41,000 and invoice is $39,500.
$2500 (Inception fees) + Tax up front ($1500) 36 month 12k mi/yr = $467/mo.
What do you guys think?

I would like to get this payment into the $440/mo range...think its feasible??

P.S. We originally started at $4500 down (inception + $2000 cap cost reduce) = $519/mo (Incl. Tax)

2006 325xi $575 over invoice

I got my TiAg 2006 325xi with premium, sports, cold weather, and adaptive xenons for $37,035. I was obviously given the plush floor mats, a full tank, a keychain, and an extra remote (I wasn't sure if all dealers give a spare remote). The dealer did not insult my intelligence by ever mentioning MACO, DAG, Processing fees, training fees, or any other BS fees your average client advisor tries to tack on. The sticker for this car was 39,795. The price I was quoted was $400 over the invoice of 36,460. I was so surprised I asked if there would be any other fees as if I was expecting them. I was then told I would have to pay a $175 transfer fee to have the car redirected from its destination off the boat to the dealer I was buying from. I had a feeling this may be a BS fee (or at least an inflated one), but I was happy enough with $575 over invoice that I did not complain in the slightest. I got this car for less than the first dealer I contacted tried to convince me their invoice price was after they paid MACO, training, and the labor and fluids to prepare the car.

BMWoo, I am certain you won't regret your decision. I made the same decision and couldn't be more pleased.

good deal at Valencia BMW

We ordered my wife's car last weekend it has Prem, sport, cold weather, comfort access, nav. park distance satellite prep. The sticker was 46,770 and we got $500 over invoice for 43,350 and we are leasing for 583. a month for 36. Since the car is not here yet if there are better lease deals between now and when the car comes we will get the better deal.

How much you could pay!

Hi Guys,

I actually work for BMW Military Sales. If you are US Military and stationed outside of the continental US I can sell BMW's to you at pricing BELOW invoice. If you qualify for the program and would like further information, please do not hesitate to ask.

All the best!
