When some service person asks, "How are you?" and you say, "Fine, and you?" and they respond with, "Thanks so much for asking."
In truth, I don't really care how you are, so there's no need to thank me for asking. I only did so out of reflex and because it's the polite thing to do. Sort of obligatory, you know? And while I'm on it, the expression "Thanks So Much" is badly over used. "Thanks" is fine.

I actually tape my pen to the retractable string thing like the one for my ID badge to get in.
When people ask if they can borrow a pen, I say sure, and I pull it away stealthily from my waist. .... aka Ive spent too much money on pens that disappear. |

Unfortunately. The actual sole purpose of it, was because I always bring my notepad with me whenever I go on the floor in the plant, but I always forgot to bring a pen with me.
So now I just click it on waist next to my badge so I don't forget it. It also allowed me to stash away all my other pens, because I can only believe people on 2nd and 3rd shift saw my cup full of pens. Many are gone by the next day. Yes, people steal here. People steal the creamer and sugar in the front break room, so now HR has to lock it up. |

When you ask your girl where she wants to eat and she says "I don't care" so you make a choice and she says "anywhere but there."
My girl doesn't get to make choices anymore. She either eats where I choose or dies. |

This one has been driving me nuts lately: "Be careful!"
It's truly crazy because obviously you don't want to get hurt so you take every precaution as a natural form of self-preservation. All that "be careful" does is give another person the window to say "well I said be careful" if something should happen. It's dumb.

Lately, people who don't use their turn signals appropriately have been getting me upset.
I am the cold/calculating type, so pretty much EVERYTHING I do... or don't do... I can give you my specific reasoning behind my actions, or lack there of. I am also pretty good at understanding the reasoning behind the actions of others, even if I don't necessarily agree with their reasoning. I say that because for the life of me, I cannot figure out the reason so many people neglect this simple, basic implied task when it comes to driving. I have tried to figure out the thought process behind it, but all I can come up with is this person must believe that there is no need to share the road with others. That is what gets me angry. That selfish reasoning. I can sometimes understand that a driver may have to switch lanes once, or make a turn at an intersection at a moments notice so they may not hit the indicator, but when I see someone switch lanes 4-6 times within 3 mins on a three lane HWY with traffic moving at 10-30 MPH, or those people that creep up to an intersection with no traffic ahead of them, only to make the slowest turn possible... all without using a signal... makes me want to headbutt a ni... person!! I just don't get it. it is not a physically demanding task. it is not a time consuming task. In fact, it should be done by reflex if someone has been driving for a couple years or more. No matter if I am on the bike, or caging it... I use my signals. It is for the safety of everyone on the roads. As you can probably tell by the way I express myself that I am a calm and reserved individual, but that shit pisses me off!! LOL

"Three Kingdoms" refers to a historical period in ancient China when the Han dynasty was disintegrating into many factions each under a different warlord. This is one of my fav scenes where this legendary kick-ass fighter (the red-faced guy with a fancy beard) is sent to take over a city. The old guy he fights with spares him from his deadly arrows in return for not killing him previously, for which his lord sentences him to be executed, but he saved by his 2nd in command who kills the lord and turns the city over.. Just thought it was cool, and it came out with eng subs.. check it out |

^^Much deeper than I expected.
Has anyone mentioned "pen clickers"? People that habitually push the button on top of a pen to have the pen go in and out. They usually do this while doing something else. The repetitive sound drives me fukin nuts. |
