Bought a Cobb charge pipe for the N54.
I know what you are all thinking, ?it won?t fit?. Cobb did a redesign on their charge pipe back in April of this year to address the fitment issues. At $195.00 plus free shipping, it?s worth a shot. Ordered it directly from Cobb. I will update you guys this weekend sometime with some pics if the install goes well. Even if it does not fit, I will let you know that too. Stay tuned..... |

Charcoal delete on my N51 with K&N. Mishimoto intake hose next. Decided to go the cheaper route for the intake upgrade.
Also a wrist shot as I decided to polish and clean my father in law's 40yo watch with wheel polish and gave it a spray wax while working on the car. Threw on a new strap completes the mod. Last edited by bkwld; 10-05-2017 at 04:11 PM.. |

Baby got some new shoes.
245/45r17 wrapped on my 8 1/2" 161's.... You wouldn't think it but they are a HUGE difference on pot holes vs 255/40r17. |

Stage 3 of my suspension refresh:
Added Eibach front seat bar and Hotchkiss Adjustable Sway Bay Endlinks. Handles like a dream now, with the M3 F&R arms, adjustable toe arms, and B12 kit. Stage 4 will be Whiteline subframe bushings, and maybe some stiffer rear control arm bushings. We'll see |

Rims fitted perfectly!
Too bad they’re replicas, but got them for $250. The ride is a little noisy and bumpy but that’s most likely due to the tyres being over 15 years old... Gonna switch them next summer. |

Replaced the 15A central locking fuses with 20A fuses (as per SIB 51 19 07) to hopefully avoid actuator problems. Got a bit of a scare when the passenger door wouldn't unlock with the interior handle. The central locking button and key remote worked fine and the problem hasn't returned yet, but it's possible that the actuator is on its way out.
Regardless, I highly recommend replacing your fuses if you haven't already to avoid getting locked in/out. They should be fuses 56 and 57 for pre-LCI and 72 and 73 for LCI (bottom left corner). Last edited by The Nightman; 10-11-2017 at 09:03 AM.. |
