All excited since my RMR I ordered in February finally arrived and this happens:

The city issued RMR fits.

I definitely should've just built it as a 16" but I'm looking into an AR-10 now for my distance rifle.
I was originally going to build and AR-10 for long range but the 6.5 Grendel is said to be a great distance round. I've been reading that you should be able to reach out to 800yds with an 18" barrel and maybe even 1000yds with the right powder. That is plenty for me.

I do want to build an SBR, but I've had me eye on a Springfield Saint Edge ever since my buddy picked one up, so now I'm not sure if I want an SBR or AR pistol. Pistol doesn't require a tax stamp (not that a tax stamp is big deal to get, just the damn gubberment taking more of my money).

If you want my bona fides:

Classified Expert in CDP, ESP, and SSP for IDPA.

Classified B is Production USPSA

Too many classes to remember them all, but here is a sample:

A bunch with Sig Sauer
Several with Jeff Gonzales
Several with Kyle Lamb. Enough that he recognized me and knew my name last week at Sig's P365 EDC match. I ranked 23rd out of 146 shooters.
A couple with Ridgeline in NH - earned a black sweatshirt for the scoped carbine class.
Armorer classes on the AR and 320.

Finally, I am an airline pilot and a gun nut. Maybe you can read between the lines on that.

I need to give an update in that thread. I'm so overwhelmed, I quit. I canceled all three this week. B, C, D, and F are becoming too much.

I drank an entire bottle of wine and made brownies on a Saturday night. That's how much I don't want to go on a date.

Just got my CCL after applying back in April. Ordered a Hellcat with a Wasp as a celebration present haha. It will be replacing my Shield which I have become disappointed with.

Oh man, I didn't know we could post firearms again.

Here's a teaser. Let's see if someone figures it out.

Sorry I spoiled your fun. Have you seen the M&P 12 yet? Looks very similar to the KSG

I have! Actually had a lot of issues with sticking and failures to fire with the DP12. That and it's so much more girth than the ksg. Always wondered if it's double the price because it's like two ksg's combined together size wise lol.

Have my pros and cons with both. Just prefer the ksg.

I think it's like $1100. I want to check it out when LGS start getting them in, looks to have the same ergonomics as the M&P pistols.

Clearly you're not in CA, lol. They used to run close to 2K, now the cheapest around is $1500. $1499,99 if you want to get technical lol.
