Thanks guys. It has been a lot of fun the last couple of weeks going out to Point Reyes. I must admit I do it to beat the heat here as much as anything, as it can be over 20 degrees cooler there, but there has been plenty to shoot there too. I have a four day weekend coming up and one of those days I will probably find myself out there again.

I got an email this morning that another wine club shipment is in. Time to head north again this weekend.

Thanks Mark. It was pretty close to sunset, so the only worry was deep shadows; otherwise, any subject in that light was going to make me look good.

I'm way behind, but I took the same shot on the same night, but before the sun was down. Mine was taken with the 5D MkIII, EF 500mm f/4L IS and the EF 2.0x TC-III, hand held. It's interesting to compare crop vs. full-frame and see that properly processed, there's NO DIFFERENCE. (We processed almost the same with some slightly different choices):

Thanks, and agreed, but they're deadly accurate when fishing for small fish.
