Which sponge are you using with it?

I've been using UWWP for a few months now and love it.

Yeah man, I actually was able to sneak it out of the evap assembly without removing that entire box, otherwise I'd probably have taken longer than 12 hours, because I'd have to remove all the a/c components and that's a lengthier and more costly approach..

Using microfiber instead of sponges, so about 6-8 in total folding in 8ths. Also using a pump pressure sprayer to lubricate with a ~16:1 ratio.

Finally got this stupid F*%#ing S*#@% air bag replaced.
Waited for like an eternity while those A-hole cheaters in non-high priority zones make up some BS story and get theirs served on a silver platter in seconds.

Went full OCD and replaced my ugly license plate bolts with stainless steel ones. The official thread spec is M5x0.8 but 10-32 thread works without any problems. I used Hillman #884-865 from Canadian Tire:

Performed a transmission drain and fill on GM Trans. The car only has 104,000km and the fluid was not that dirty but the 1-2 shift is a bit smoother.

I used a ramp and then jacked the rear until the car was level. The best way to check for level is put a magnetic level on the pan, I also checked for level in the trunk as it flat. None of the body panels are level, so those can be misleading.

For those living in Canada, Canadian Tire carries Dexron VI and it states that it is licensed by GM to produce it. It is $7 / L, much better than the $15/L BMW wants.

Thanks for sharing. How much fluid did you use? I'm at 115k km and plan on doing this soon with the same fluid.

You could of flushed it out through the Transmission Cooler. You need about 10-12 qts to do this correctly. This way all the fluid is fresh not just whats in the pan. You just need a transmission cooler line release tool; it costs about $13-15.00.
