E92 Coupe Pics (from spypics to first 100% unmasked pics)

Just spoken to a dealer (in the uk) and he says the pics/info will be released March/April

I'm desperate to see the new coupe.He says his boss has already seen it and has told every body its fantastic (mind you he would say that !)
The only other posative indication is that there are no spy pics from any uk mags this last week,when the web is full of them.
Hopefully that means they already have the pics and are waiting for the embargo to end.
Fingers crossed,but I'm not optomistic

I also spoke to a dealer here in the UK sometime last week. I pretended that I was looking to buy a BMW 3 series coupe and he asked me if I was aware that a new one was on the way. I asked when it will be available to purchase and he said mid-summer. So that looks to be about June/July for the UK but he also did say "obviously, you may see pictures in the press of what it will look like to help you make a decision"

I told him about the spy shot and e mailed it to him.
He agreed that nobody would get a picture of a finished car without it being released shortly.He told me to wait whilst he made a phone call.Ten minutes later he phoned back,he had spoken to someone he said who had already seen the car and said it was a lot better looking than the one I had just mailed him.
He also said that it would be on sale in the UK about September.
I've seen him on Thursday when I took my 4 year old 330 Ci in for an MOT.
The subject came up again,however this time he said it would be available about June/July

.(the same man told me at the launch of the 3 saloon it would (new coupe) be released in September this year)
Lets hope some details are released on Tuesday

Well NO mention of the E92 Coupe...Thats too bad we will just have to wait even longer...they talked about the 306 hp z4M coupe and then unveiled it. Not too much else. Sorry Guys.

man, what a letdown.

I wondering if BMW is prolonging any announcement for the e92 in order to maximize the sales of the current coupe for as long as possible. Get those uninformed suckers while they can!

I can see what they were intending. They wanted to give the new Z4 Roadster and Coupe maximum exposure, since these are slow sellers and need the attention. If they'd launched the E92 Coupe at the same time it would have stolen all the attention.

So that confirms that details of the E92 Coupe will be released in a subsequent press release in a few weeks time.

p.s. BMW are also due to announce details of their Z10 Supercar, which many thought might also be at Geneva. They've begun taking deposits on the Z10 which will be produced in the 2007/08 model year.

In his speech Dr Helmut Panke confirmed two 'new' product lines to be released this production year.

wait from reading the price from the other page, is that for the 325, 330, or the 335?
do you really think the 325ci is gonna be 10k more then the 325i?

i really hope thats the price of the 335ci!!!

Yes, there are often more surprises and press launches. Just after the main speech they launched this in another hall:
