So you normally take up 4 spots? at least that is what it looks like with the lines on the ground.

Yeah one of those 4 spots happened to be where I normally park (far away from everyone else)....I was mildly irritated that he parked like that...but I wasn't gonna let it ruin my day... |

I needed that, the Jeep, today. My M3 shooting blind almost got stuck turning around in a heavy snow. The snow on top was dry and cold, but it'd been in the 40s yesterday, so the ground was not frozen and very slick. Thankfully I was able to rock it out. Plan B was to have the rangers push me out, in appreciation for the calendars I gave them at the first of the year. (Always think ahead.)

How do you like the new Cherokee? I was thinking it would be the one to replace my 04 with. Unless i move out west.
traded a non working car for it then lifted it 2 inches and threw some big tires on it. |

I really like the new Grand Cherokee. It's very comfortable, quiet, and spacious inside. Power is pretty good with the new Pentastar V6. The 2011's have a 5 speed automatic transmission which I don't think mates very well to the V6. It tends to bog a bit and hunt for gears too long. I think this is something they are looking to change in the years to come. Overall, I'm very satisfied with it. Thanks! It's kinda on it's last legs sadly.
yeah, I'm noticing that with a lot of the newer transmissions, I think the companies are lost for what to do. I feel like it's an argument over comfort vs. emissions. I had a debate at a dealership i worked at long ago at how the automatic was shifting too early and the engine was bogging down. The final answer really is that all of them are doing it to get every last drop of fuel on the EPA testing. In the real world however, it can cause carbon build up and let's face it, it is a bit hard on an engine when it bogs down. Long story short, average driver is going to get worse mileage with it, unless they drive like a grandma. But as long as it hits the EPA targets, people seem happy. Love that version of the M5, just looks classy. |
