Hey all,
I need some help. I can't for the life of me reach the back E12 bolt for the Waterpump. Can someone give me some advice as to how to get it out? PelicanParts Waterpump DIY seems to have a different configuration than my chassis? Perhaps due to it being an LCI? Thanks

well... I finally managed to pull the sucker out....
Not a great way of doing it to be honest... It scratched up the AC compressor quite a bit. I question if the installation method will result in the same amount of 'damage' cosmetic or otherwise...

I also disconnected the coolant Dump tube from the exhaust side of the engine as the gasket area looked like it was wet and low-n-behold

I'm really happy to have the time to slowly work on this chassis while I don't need the car. I'm picking up the new piece of rear passenger window glass on Friday morning, as well as a new Regulator.
I'm excited to start putting all the pieces back together. With that in mind, This piece dropped from the subframe/tray. Can anyone tell me what its' from? Looks like part of a hose?

And the rest of the re installation went smoothly.
I jacked up the engine about 1-2" and that gave me plenty of room to maneuver and get the pump in without any scratches or damage.

I started putting the transmission back into the car.
Some optimism in tough times. You can see the 3d printed support on the bottom, balancing the entire transmission as it gets jacked up

Thank you squaredphoto!
Lots of new developments and purchases as of this month to get the car up and running by May 1st. I'll space out my posts as needed as to not spam, but I'm really excited haha

I don't have enough experience with the n52, nor the e-chassis in order to tell you. What I do know is that when I remove anything rubber/plastic from this engine, it is brittle AF.
I think it's the classic case of, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. ie: when i removed the hose, i broke the old plastic fitting.

Another new project that I will be planning is the Front Crankshaft Seal Installation/Removal tool..
I created the Rear Seal installer... so I kind of set myself up to create the Front Seal installer too, Not to mention that if I were to purchase the tool, it would cost several hundred dollars. More to follow.

I also addressed the sagging issue that I noticed w/ the Coolant pump and replaced both left & right motor mounts!
Passenger side: Really wanted to do this while the car was up on jacks... It went smoothly... until the engine ground cable just withered into two....
