We haven't had an XI in the shop recently to mock up a new design but most folks end up getting the pipe extended for an hours worth of labor or less. We'll be sure to get a solid 3d scan of the underside of an XI the next chance we get

I’m local and willing to have you scan the car to make the adjustment I’ll even buy the prototype!

I wish there was an XI version of the VRSF exhaust, my car is in need of some loudness, this stock exhaust sucks lol. I’d buy an XI version right now if I could, as for cutting up a new exhaust to make it fit my car that’s a bit ehh for me, I’d rather just pay for something to bolt up directly out of the box.

So happy to hear this. Ive been trying to buy this exhaust but am not willing to cut it up and weld. But now will buy right when you come up with the revised front pipe. VRSF FTW

No ETA yet folks, all existing kits still require modification for XI models. The modification is as simple as cutting and extending a couple pipes to clear the larger XI transmission. Most exhaust shops can get it done in less than an hour

I wanted to find out if this was true or not, but all I've gotten is radio silence. |

I would prefer the OVERALL sound of the Borla exhaust for my baby and it is less quid than VRSF's offering. Borla refuses to guarantee fitmen for an '11 E90 LCI335i xdrive. Ironically, Borla grantees fitmen for the 2007 through 2010. Please educate me |

I had a 3.5" catback from another manufacturer and could never get it to stop rattling on the chassis brace. Do a secondary cat delete and maybe an axleback and call it good. Or just get a shop to do the weld, it's not expensive and the vrsf exhaust is still cheap af. |
