The Nissan is probably better to own daily though (assuming it works).
the nissan is actually decent on the inside. yes, it's not a leather-wrapped interior of a ferrari, but it's functional, well built, and solid. exponentially better than any corvette.

stock to stock, the z06 has never been faster than the gtr.

the gtr is great stock. my friend has had one since day 1 2009 bone stock and has never had any issues with it whatsoever, outside of tires and shit.

Maybe I just don't get it. I think this car looks horrible, inside and out.

The stats I got were based on on the 2011 GTR and 2012 Z06 from the Ring. Z06 beats it by 2 seconds and the ZR1 is even quicker.

Not sure about the 2012 GTR. Don't see an official Ring time for that.

Actually, that 2011 GTR time might be the 2012 because it's known as a 2012MY some places and a 2011MY others.

This thread makes me want a GT-R more and more. Why can't lease payments be closer to the M3?

Without reading or viewing the link, I would strongly advise against purchasing this car. When I took my car to get serviced at the dealership, they had a charcoal GT-R on the show room so I figured why not check it out while I wait. The cluster was so... primitive as well as the electronics. For the price, I would NOT get the car in general.

On the plus side, I sat in the new 750s and they're extremely sleek! If your doors do not close all the way the first time, the new mechanism closes your door fully -- similar to those pesky minivans

530hp, 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, and super car performance do not fancy you, but a door-closing mechanism does. I think it's time to hand over your man card.

So if you keep this thing stock what is different than any other high performance car? other than brakes and tires?

Primitive electronics in the GT-R? lol The fancy door-closing mechanism you speak of is not new technology it's been in the S-Class since at least the mid-90s lol

because it does everything better than those other cars in the same price point. you'll have to well surpass $100k to get similar performance and handling out of a car that probably still won't beat a gtr.

i hate to answer a question with a drag race video, but:
