Mega arranged one in Ikea Wembley, which went very well... but it location itself holds nothing against the brightly lit, warm car park of Westfields... London Eye is a gd option... As long as we make it a late shoot... But we are limited to how we park due to the road. Graffiti tunnels have been fenced off... So no longer an option Canary Wharf - The tunnels are cool, but not perfect for setting up photos... DOME - Never done the dome before... Just did a google maps and it looks fooking cool around there!!!! But i do not know if we can get access? if any of the roads are blocked? CHECK FIRST PAGE FOR UPDATED LIST.... I still like the idea of Westfield even if you have to pay for parking... BUTTTTT i was checking google maps for the roads and buildings around the dome. There are some awesome places with dome back drops, funky buildings and even water front areas!!! Go to google maps and check these Co-ordinates 51.502278,0.005984 - Dome back drop location, funky buildings 51.502799,0.00652 - Water backdrop MORE importantly, is that there are lots of quiet roads which gives us time to get some great shots. These are the kind of night time shots outside the wheel co-ordinates 51.504075,-0.117057 |

Yer I been to the Wheel a lot of Times On the jap tunnel runs. I think the dome and all round the docklands area is the best bet. Very very quite area and lots of good photo areas.

The Ace and Westfield works for me.
Do we know what day yet as I will have to apply for holiday on the 3rd and no guarantee of getting it if I leave it to late. Jon

Car Park Shoots are awesome! With a decent camera and the ability to adjust exposure definitely makes for some awesome shots!
Yes... We will make the Date Sun 3rd. I will amend this now. |

Not sure you'll be able to get that close to the dome. Taxi rank is closest and if you tell security on a concert night you are dropping at tube station they sometimes let you past.Dropped pin
near 5 Millennium Way London SE10 0PH http://goo.gl/maps/Y5Dh0 Sundays within square mile will be deserted. Lookup Threadneedle or blackfriars. not so good with the bars but head to Liverpool street or bishopsgate for that. Parking a bit trickier. Head to hoxton for a drink. Or further into town here...The Old Red Lion http://goo.gl/maps/Ak0ji and kimchee for grub. Kimchee http://goo.gl/maps/tvxxD tunnel under black friars at baynard street, watch out for speed camera when you return to main flow in daylight. Turn left up Lambeth hill just before the speed camera to do it all again via Queen Victoria street and puddle dock. Blink and you'll miss it though and be heading south. Castle Baynard Street / Puddle Dock http://goo.gl/maps/GZva0 Use street view to see what I mean. Last edited by crypticc; 10-15-2013 at 06:06 PM.. |

If you want water you won't get closer than this but I'm not sure if the wall will ruin it for you. Anchor in hope Prob okay but not glamorous.

I spoke to a couple taxi drivers last night whilst i was out and about.
You may be right... getting to those locations i listed are not realistic. I do not want to have a large group of Bimmers driving around without a set location. SO IT IS FINALISED We have Tesh (did Sumils awesome photos) & Achu (pro photograhpher) and hopefully Dave (Da Man with a Cam) all on board to take some awesome photographs. They are all happy to do a Shepherds Bush Westfield Meet and I am sure we can capture some great photos for all of us! Yes it will cost a little to park the car for a while... BUT -We are in a great looking car park without any Police issues. -It is very bright to capture some great looking reflections off our cars paint work which i doubt we would get on a gloomy November afternoon...SO GET WAXING -We will all grab some food in Westfields and have friendly chat over our modding directions and what is next to come -ITS WARM & Indoors! -We will find a quiet corner without any other customer cars and we will have the freedom to move our cars as we see fit. I will be going today to confirm that we shouldn't have any issues with security there. What we have to take a few things into consideration - Store Opening Times - People who are working Sunday Firstly i want as many of us to attend as possible. We usually do an early morning meet at about 11am... But i don't think this would be possible as it would be too busy at the car park and others wouldn't be able to make it. So this is going to be a late afternoon / early evening meet. Opening Hours of SHOPS Sunday 12pm - 6pm Southern Terrace (Food area) Sunday 12pm - 10.30pm The Loft & Balcony (Food Area) Sunday 12pm - 7pm* *The loft opens till 8pm Car Park Opening Hours Monday - Sunday 6am - 3am If we arrive for 5:30pm, we can hang around and wait for others to arrive. We can then go and grab something to eat and by the time we finish... The majority of shop customers would have left leaving a fairly empty car park and we have the time to grab the pics we want. |
