The DME uses the lambda and o2 sensor to calculate fuel trims over some period of time. If you trick the DME with a flat value, you are going to have bad trims. Bad trims means bad A/F ratio. Thats not a problem you want to have for a DP. Its batter to leave the sensor alone and mask the code. |
