No, I'm conservative. You're liberal. Liberals are the ones who resort to name calling instead of debating and actually listening to other points of view.

The EU should be a trade and monetary policy agreement, nothing else. The social parts are killing Europe. Unrestricted immigration, polution, etc. Countris should be able to meet basic requirements to be part so foreign politicians don't milk the countries pulling their weight so they can pay for social programs to get reelected. I.e. greece, italy, etc. Countries should have a say on who they do and don't let into their borders permanently. Regulations over things like food should be on a country by country basis. If a firm wants to send food to another country, they would have to meet those requirements or loose the business. Etc.

This is pretty standard Farage in EU parliament. Hard to fault his points - but he is brash at times. Then again, he cares about what he stands for, where as the rest are just there to see where the revolving door goes next. The EU is just one piece of a very incestuous club.

Do you know anything about Nigel Farage, or the sort of hate and racism his party followers conduct?

If no then perhaps do some research.

That's meaningless. I don't care if he was kkk or black lives matter. The reality is what I stated. This wasn't a vote for or against him. It was a vote for British sovereignty and British border and economic control. I didn't see the ballot saying do you agree with nights racism yes or no.

Ok well it would matter to me if he was kkk or a Nazi or a terrorist (of which Farage is none, but in the spirit of the example you used above). I guess that's where we differ because his views whether correct or not would become invalid to me if he was one of the above.

His views on racism are invalid to me also . But that doesn't make all his views invalid. There are plenty of others who support brexit that don't share these views and rightly so.

Oh yeah
Farage is a complete racist and fascist.

His party (UKIP) is well known for being run and followed by the racists of the UK.

Again who cares. This wasn't a vote on farage's racism. It was a vote on British sovereignty economically, immigration, and regulatory among others. People get so micro over things. What ever happened to the big picture? Ow, I stubbed my toe playing football. Maybe we should push to ban sports.

There is a common belief in the UK that if you've ever said anything that mildly offended anyone, that all arguments you have from that day forward are completely invalid. People are too busy looking at who said what rather than what was actually said.

UKIP had 12.7% of the vote in the last general election, and if Brexit didn't happen they would have no doubt got even more next time. I think people intentionally mix them up with the BNP that are racist and do want to "send them home" as they put it.

UKIP is Anti EU in the political institution sense, and not anti-Europe. Farage's wife is a bloody German!

I didn't say Farage was racist at all. Some question marks over his leave campaign marketing. I said that proportion of his members were and of course they would be. He is a far right movement that attracts biggots and thats where the racism comes from. If you examine the party's membership you will find a predominate trend. So to clarify whilst Farage himself may not be racist his party's members and a proportion of his aides are. And this has been proven many a time as per the number of times he has had to come out and renounce these members. Seems to be a trend. If BNP no longer has a string following where do you think their members went? Pretty sure it wasn't the Tories. Just saying.

I just personally have no time for the man as because of the views he holds I am uninterested in him.

I don't know if it's a british belief or not. I find him offensive in some of his views and therefore choose to ignore him. Therefore any views he has are invalid to me. I don't think that's ignorance or intolerance. It's natural to detune to something or someone you feel is incoherent, inconsistent and unreliable. He talks shit most of the time. It's just this time he's on the same side as some have voted.

If I said something that offended you and you knew my personal views were deeply offensive to you would you give me the time of day?

I just saying don't use this individual and his personal views to make broad assumptions and accusations about brexit. People are using him to call this racist which is preposterous.

Whatever anyone's personal view of Farage he is the only current politian who at the effective end of his political career has actually achieved what he set out to do.

It was inept of the Government to call a referendum without having any idea of what to do in the event of the British people voting to leave the EU.
