You can also use 7zip from apache foundation, its very good, won't give you any errors either.

Ofcourse you can. Just upload and default to map 1 whatever stage you are. No adjustments and no map changing required. You just need a bit of patience don't rag on it until its properly warmed up. The maps are very controllable even in-town. Unless you have parkinson's (no offense intended) these maps won't induce any hacky jerky driving. Boost builds very quick and very very responsive though.

that's interesting. i was gonna change it, but i thought, why change something not broken? i really wish to learn a lot more about the tune. information is kindda scattered everywhere within 2 years of forums postings and i'm just starting.

No where in any documentation does it say to make that change. This is because that selection isnt functional yet. Which is why changing it from the default did strange things.

Can I use stage 1 map 2 if I am in a colder climate with 93 pump, DCI and cat-back? I see 30-40*F regularly this time of year. I know if just means less traction, but the power is nice sometimes. Could I even maybe go to stage 2? Should I try one of these and log it or is anything other than stage 1 map 1 too aggressive for my car at this point? Just trying to squeeze out every bit I can but still be relatively safe.

It's easy enough to calculate boost targets in each map by looking at boost 0% and boost 100% and interpolating based upon boost %

Thanks you guys! Just test max speed (had problem with my previous tune above 6500tr/nm in 6th) absolutely no problem and timing drop! I had to congratulate Vishnu about the no lift feature too, it's really amazing!
PS: IC is set to 0% |

if you think you got timing drop...
i happen to stumble across this phenomenon while analyzing my daily driving log.
i usually don't check the slow part, but this is almost cruising. all the jagged edges here are exactly 3 degrees. i can't come up with any explanations, anybody care to guess what happened? they can't be knock retard right? i was barely 1psi boost, and the weather is cool. even my WOT logs look better than this... |
