I have only seen two 335's modded at all since I've been here. I saw a space grey e92 with stock wheels painted and a few other cosmetics on Lackland. And I saw an E90 space grey dropped today on Randolph. But it looked stock otherwise....

Lived there 2 years, like 6yrs ago. Area immediately around base is a little sparse. All the fun is out in the bay area (45min out from base), natural parks, and napa valley (hot air balloon rides, wine tours, etc).

The road going to lake berryessa is a freaking blast to drive on. The lake is also the location for one of the murders of the zodiac killer.

Base is next to some cattle fields, so, if you exit out the back of the base, and have your windows rolled down, you'll get et du cow dookie when the wind blows. lol. I'd go out the front if you can. The gym on base is pretty good.

The hills along the highway get really green. Ala mini Switzerland during the spring.

sounds like a good spot. I'm originally from Oakland, so I look forward to being close to home without being too close. I guess I really lucked out being in the Army and getting orders to Travis.

I bought a buffer/pads/tons of polishes to do this myself. And I can not get my car right....so I'm thinking of selling my stuff. And then getting a detailer as well. My neighbor had some kid come over and do his Z06. He said he was a little worried when the kid showed up but he spent all day on it and did a good job. And he said he only charged like $100. I'll see if I can get his #. If you find someone, let me know.

The problem is that it's too damn hot right now. You'd need to find a cool garage...
