Hey Esteban . Did you purposely put these two songs one after another? Did you notice how very similar the drum beats are for the two songs?

Yes, the two songs are considered alike, particularly the bass and drum beats. Maneater came out in 1982 and Part-Time lover in 1985, and people instantly noticed the similarities.

I was at the market the other night and Part-Time Lover was playing. I love that song, my favorite of the two, and I made a note to post it here. I remembered how similar the two songs are and decided to post Maneater here as well.
