I finally have comfort accesss ! so fortunately i was able to get dumitru.o to get me sorted. not going to lie i waited 6 months, shipping and tariff issues but i received my cas module and comfort access transmitter and now i have fully working comfort access. the only thing is i was unable to source door handles in titan silver, i remember reading something about unable to paint the handles can anyone confirm if that is true ?

glad to hear you finally did it. i know it took a lot of time until the parts reached you, it was a headache for me as well. nowadays everything has changed and even BMW takes a lot of time to produce the CAS module (in case it s needed to replace the CAS) and the CA key. i believe the chip shortage around the word has taken it's toll.
on top of that shipping to US has become also a challenge ! regarding your question: the door handles can be painted, i did it once and they worked fine. Just make sure you don't sand off the sensor and when applying the painting, just go as thin as possible with the new coat so that it won t affect the conductivity of the sensor.
