I'm on the fence about going with either Umnitza or Mtec. Why does there have to be so many damn options?

I just realized that the Umnitza's are not plug and play, my mistake. I don't have the money to go that route yet so it'll have to be either Lux or Mtec.. decisions, decisions.

Do you have the ICE VXX? If so, are they brighter than Lux? I'm eventually going to have ACM do my headlights once I get the money together, but in the meantime I want to get rid of these hideous halogen lights.

Been reading through some 20 pages on this thread, and also other forums and other threads on this forum..
I have an 2006 E91, with Xenon and Adaptive headlights.. I want to upgrade to white AE´s, and even tho I would like to do it the cheapest way (LED with LUX, MTEC or something similar), how will it look in bright daylight? Are the LCI AE´s so much brighter that I should go for them, or are some of the better LED so close that it´s not worth it? I know it will look fantastic in the evening and night, but I want to be able to drive around during the day and still have my headlights look amazing. |

You can send your headlamps to 180 customs and have them custom install these angels.
They look amazing in the daytime especially increasing the voltage from 12 volts to. 13.7 volts http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=722295 |

I was hoping to be able to convert the AE's to LED but I may just go with a halogen H8 from PIAA or GP Thunder, I don't really want to sacrifice brightness or have the uneven brightness between coronas that I've seen with the LED's others have reviewed. Are there any drawbacks to the PIAA or GP Thunder H8 halogens?

I just installed my Alpine HIDs 8000k and they are gorgeous. An intense bright white with a slight hint of blue truly brings my e92 coupe to life. A superb upgrade from the stock dull yellow. And these lights are plug and play, no mods necessary, and I did it myself following their installation video. Completely satisfied with Alpine HIDs.!

Guys how are the Weisslicht V2 angel eyes? I have an E90 LCI with xenons, and a friend is selling these. I was thinking of picking them up, havent seen his car with them installed. Hes selling them because hes selling his E90. From what I understand, on E90s the Weisslicht are ok, but on E92/3s the Lux beats it hollow. Is it worth picking up?

No the lights are perfect during the day and night. They are very bright, which is what I was going for.

It's reckless. HID angel eyes are way too bright at night. There is a possibility to deactivate angel eyes at night by coding if you have HIDs installed, in order to prevent oncoming traffic from being blinded at night. You might want to give it a thought. |

If that was the case, everytime someone pushes unlock on their car and approach from the front they would be blinded. Angel Eyes DO NOT project. I understand the brightness might give you the idea and it blinds, but it only keeps that light inside the housing. With over 4 years now with this product on the road, I doubt it would have made it long if it posted a "reckless" nature. |
