I was getting frustrated at how I cannot get my car all down form the rear thanks to the ever so slightly more aggressive wheels than I bargained for - it's neither a win nor a loss as I wanted an aggressive set up.
So I went to my local garage to try and get a bit more negative rear camber but despite being maxed on front and rear... my rear still won't "tuck" as they say... meaning when funds permit and my heart still wants to mod... I will need another route in for being able to tuck! Whether that's pulling the arches / custom work / M3 arches or aftermarket camber arms, I don't know... so any one experienced enough - please chime in. Current front camber is -2.4ish degrees and rear camber is -2.2ish degrees. As said, when funds and heart permit to mod further, I would love to know the most cost effective way of being able to slam down at rear and tuck if needed. epic build thread. i've been a fan since the molded aero lip. enjoy in good health mate.
my current camber is -2.0 fronts and -2.3 rears with air suspension. it used to be -2.3 fronts and -3.0 rears with coilovers.

So as some of you know Gaydon just took place on Sunday. It's always been a big show and pulls in a great crowd from all over the UK, some even internationally. I was parked with the Custom Cars team and what with over 70+ cars just on our stand alone, it was a nice day out. Not as crowded as previous shows but that's thanks to the guys at the Heritage Museum having another build being erected thus taking up our usual spot. Nonetheless, we still havea pretty decent spot on the hill, overlooking the crowd and the gazeebo type tent thing made for a nice spot of nap or snacks, whatever took your fancy.
So Saturday just gone, I was up at 5.30am for a friends wedding in Kent. I arrived there at 8am and left the party at 9pm. Then I dropped a friend off in W.London while eneroute to Gaydon as 50+ stayed up that night before Gaydon and I finally reached my hotel at 11.35pm. Late and torn from the lack of sleep day before and all the partying. Sumil, Shaun and I were up until around 2am drinking, chatting cars and just having a mini stag LOL! 7am we get a call from Shaun to wake us up and off we go to Gaydon. At this point it was 7.30, my car had covered some decent motorway miles and it was beyond filthy so by 8am I had the car shining and we made our way. I didn't take many pics as most of my time was spent drooling over the sound that Shaun's self made build was making - what a crowd it pulled in and just what pure class bass and system it is. It was truly mind blowing to hear the 13.5w7 being played in a ported box and to add, all of the build was done by him, I know makkan00 tuned the system and I must give him serious credits on that, you did this system some real justice mate! As soon as I've gone back to Shakey @ Studio In Car next week, I'll be up and ready once more for the sounds at shows. I'll have to ask Shaun to allow my lil baby some time for showcasing LOLOL. Anyways, only took a couple of selfies so enjoy This pic courtesy of Callum - cheers fella'! |

Thanks guys! Singh, love the M4 bro and Az, wheels are just too much for me bro! Too gully!
Right, after faffing around a few months, I finally bit the bullet and sent off my M Sport steering wheel to Jack for a bit of TLC. Infact since my car is originally an SE, I retained only a few OEM bits and the steering wheel was one of them. I was historically driving with the M3 wheel but sold that off to a forum member and took his M Sport wheel in exchange. Sent this off to Jack at Royal Steering Wheels after reading so many excellent reviews and seeing his work 1st hand. Opted for: Padded Steering Wheel Smooth Nappa Leather all round Flat Bottom Red Stitching 12 O' Clock Red Stripe Last edited by AWBimmer; 10-20-2015 at 08:35 AM.. |

Yeah man, def chunky. I like the thickness of an M Sport wheel. This one is a tad more thicker as I asked for it and I feels great. Will take getting used to as I've been using SE wheel for months now but this one feels right at home LOL. So what you doing about your sounds Singh? Totally Love the M4! |
