You never really went WOT and stayed there. Both logs you backed off the throttle during the pull.

However, what was there looked pretty good. Cyl 1 looks like a noise cylinder but that's about it. Without seeing a good WOT pull I don't want to say every thing is fine... but so far so good.

Here is a log I did on stage 1 sport W/ 93 octane.

I do notice that there are no timing corrections as I had with stage 1 aggressive.

If you zoom in to 300-350% you should be able to read fine.

So I pulled all the codes from my car as I was filling gas this morning, and there were a gazillion H (history) codes that I had never seen/was not familiar with. Now that I think of it, I believe these are stored codes from the Alpina flash, as it appears others had the same “issue”. If this is the case, I’m just going to clear them and move on, the car is logging strong and the trans adapted to the TCU flash just fine a few weeks back. Oh and it threw a fuel mixture code from the ethanol, but I’m not too concerned there as the car is doing fine with E30 outside of weaker than optimal LPFP PSI midrange. I’m wondering what ya’ll think about those history codes….Thanks!

The codes were: H2F84,H2F4c,H2DC3,H0DB0,H0d95,H0D9c, H0dA5…very weird codes that I have no experience with.

Sorry it's wet weather this week so hard to floor it.

so should I do the same thing I did in 3rd gear and stay around the 6500 rpm range for 2-4 seconds?

also doesn't WOT just mean pushing down the accelerator?

no it means pushing it down so you have WIDE OPEN throttle, not half, not 3/4. 100% down

you cant log when wet, DTC should be OFF as well. go in 3rd gear 2000 rpm, go WOT , hold it till almost redline and change gear to 4 th still WOT for couple of seconds so you can also see post shift timings.

Thanks I did see that, which is why I’m not all that concerned. They’re history codes that I never would have noticed had I not pulled them, and it appears to be leftover/not cleared from the TCU flash. Appears to be a false alarm

yeah I figured you probably had seen this but thought I would check. I remember @cn555ic clearing my codes after doing the flash for me which is why I never saw them. Glad you got it sorted!

I was wondering why you wanted to do a 4th gear log, you're moving pretty darn good by the top of 4th. Just wait until it's dry out and do the log in 3rd, 100% no messing around pedal to floor WOT. Well actually don't mash the pedal down too hard if you're car is an auto or you could hit the kickdown switch and mess things up

Its an auto, but what I typically do it switch it to "manual" mode and start logging just before 2500 rpm on m3 and then let off the pedal once it auto shifts to m4, would that work?
do I also have to disable dtc?

With the auto, go into manual mode, get to 3rd gear, and then press until you feel the kick down. You may have to experiment with that a few times before you get the hang of it. So long as you don't hit the kick down you should be able to get about 92-95% throttle, and you will get your clean log. If you do get the kick down, just start over.

Take traction control all the way off (hold the button for 5 seconds or whatever it is) and you should be good to go. If not, you can get some weird things going on as traction control tries to intervene.

But let's just say I do hit the kick down while pinning the peddle, wont it still log the results prior to the kick down? or are you saying kick down might happen before I hit the 6500 rpm mark?

It'll log whatever you're doing, the point is to get a full throttle log in a gear with sufficient load to really show how the motor is responding. 2nd gear is doable, but it's not ideal. If you accidentally hit the kickdown, just start the process over.

if you have AT just keep the pedal down and let it shift by itself... have you actually pushed the car?
