Yeh, sadly they are LHD & RHD specific, so my search is quite limited! They are £258 brand new from the dealers.

I have been offered this one for £170 - I've never seen one in person, so is there anyway to 100% cross reference a part number stamped on the cylinder? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2527909856...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

With regard to the 535 OEM rotors, here are some pictures:

Here is a comparison between a delivery mileage F3x rear rotor, and a brand new 535 rotor. (note: the 535 disc has a small lip on the rear side, which elevates the rotor slightly when its sat on a flat surface)

I may be being totally thick here.....

However I presume that since the 535 rotor has a shallower rotor hat that the caliper will be CLOSER to the wheel spokes compared to people who have used F3x rotors?

Not enough to worry about fitment though I'm guessing?

The F30 calipers Brembo built for BMW / to their specs are awesome...

Thanks for all your help fellas. These F30 calipers with the 370 mm discs are simply awesome & the E90 MC was the icing on the cake. The corresponding rears are still too much work & a large headache to make it worth my time at this point. But perhaps down the line when we can work out the bugs & someone can make a simple bracket for us - I'll finally buy a set.

The clamping force (brake torque) & stopping precision these offer are well worth the money. I'm currently still seasoning the rotors & bedding the pads followed by scheduling one last blake bleed. After that, I can really see what these are capable of...

Looks great but you didn't need to detail your wheel well for us! That's spotless.

Thank you & you have some sharp eyes man. After I had the shop install these new F30 brakes, I removed all 4 wheels & gave them a nice bath. So since I had access to the wheel wells I figure why not. I appreciate you noticing that I work hard to make her that clean... !

That's the way it came from the factory. The photo is of the passenger side front. My car is a 2011 335i sedan with the M-sport package. So the liner is a bit thin on that side for some reason. I guess I need to go to realm.com & make sure.

The drivers side wheel well cover has much more meat on it for some reason...

The yellows look awesome on my LeMans Blue 335is. Once you have the calipers machined it's not nearly as bad a install as I anticipated.

Nice coupe LMB335IS.

I wish there was a shop that had all the milling specs predetermined that I could simply send these rear F30 calipers to - to have them machined with consistently reliable precision.

The shop that did mine is a high end machine shop that is more than capable of doing it correctly

That's good news & I may have to ship mine over to them if that's the case. Just haven't been able to decide if I'm going to go that route yet (for the rear calipers).

Can anyone give some measurements we need for wheel clearance? Minimum barrel diameter and backspacing? The last two brake jobs I have had done I send up with rotor warpage and I want to move to something with better thermal characteristics. I just want to know if I will need to get new wheels to fit.

So I have picked up a set of grey 4 pot Brembos from 435i. Going to have them powdercoated yellow and run the 340mm F30 rotor. This should clear my 193M's fine with 10mm spacers, correct? Definitely going to use INPA to bleed the brakes to make sure all air bubbles are gone.

hi everyone, this might be a stupid question, so forgive me. found a set of front calipers for a steal. one catch, they are both for the right hand side, the only diference from left to right is the bleed niple. could i still make it work if i bled the left handside one of the mount and in the right position?

cheers

Not that easy mate. The cast hose inlet will be facing downwards so your stock hoses would be too short.

If I'm not mistaken it would also put the bleed nipple at the bottom which isnt right either. Needs to be at the top to trap air to release it.
