Hello everyone.

I recently retrofitted a cd changer to my E90 320d. It does have power. I used the optical cable that was waiting already in the boot area on the left. I bought the OBD cable and downloaded the BMW tools, read a million opinions how to use Ncs Expert and I tried everything but nothing.
I live in Rutland. Is there anyone in the area who can help me code the cdc? Even online could be done as I heard

Hi,

Anyone in Hounslow or west London area that can help me troubleshoot/ code adaptive headlight on a bmw 320d M Sport 2011 ?.

I am currently getting the adaptive headlight failure message. I have got my passenger side headlight changed and I think it just requires coding.

Thanks

Guys, anyone help me register a battery please? I had it installed around the end of July but I don't think the fellas knew how to code it. I have the cable. If someone can point me in the right direction. Either a decent link with clear instructions or even remote help, that'd be great. Car is a 2011 E90 320d efficient dynamics and I'm based in West Yorkshire. Thanks.

hi guys
I have an e92 2008, 325d. Had it mapped about 5 years ago, and during the map, the coder seems to have disabled my cruise control. I get a cruise control error whenever I try to activate now. As the mapper was a distance away, I never took it back. Would be happy to see if anyone can sort it without removing my custom map?

I think it's £40/50, only needs to be done once. Still comfortably the cheapest way to get lci rears coded👍🏼

No idea mate, I've only used Carly. LCI lights cost me £400 so I was more than happy with paying the fee knowing I could code them on my driveway in 5 minutes. I called multiple 'bmw coders' in my area and all of them advised I would need the updated FRM module. The fact a basic phone app can do what they can't with their 1000's of pounds worth of equipment made the fee seem more than fair. If it can be done for free with bimmercode then even better👍🏼

Hey, looking for help with diagnosing a starting issue with my E92 (possible DDE fault) either available remotely (I have ISTA) or local to the North-east (Stockton-on-Tees specifically)

I have a small problem. I have the Bimmergeek's software installed and I seem to be able to connect to the car (2010 325i E97) but I can't download the vin either in NCS Expert or in INPA. In INPA I get both battery & Ignition "spots" in black but the cable seems to drop the connection after a while & the Ignition one goes out.

Error typically:

Error in EDIABAS or in SG description file IFH-0003: Data transmission HOST/Interface CAS disrupted

Error COAPI4.CPP coapiReadOrder 4
[14:56:21.960] [2022-01-20] [SERIES] Error in EDIABAS or in SG description file FA_READ: A_E65CAS

That looks like a communications issue to me. Anyone know how to test the K+DCAN cable ? I have one off E-Bay which CLAIMS to be INPA compatible but I seem to have the com port set up on Windoze fine (although I am going to do a clean re-install in case it is messed up somehow). Failing that, anyone Cambs / Beds way have a known good cable we could test against ?

I am goingto crack this EVENTUALLY :-)
