I love my set of Apex Arc-8. Specs are 18x9.5 Et35 and 18x10 et25. Got it to fit by running -2.7 camber on the rear and 225/40 in front and 245/40 in the rear. Sits nice and flush. No rub with no finder roll. 😁😁😁

Hey Dylan, I narrow down my wheel choices to apex SM-10 or Arc-8. I really like this fitment for my set up, but my car is 2011 e90 LCI X-drive on ST-coils. I was wondering if it would be a direct bolt on.? Thanks |

what is the point of putting 245s on the back of 335s ?? you are essentially putting a narrower tire than stock, just so you can run 10 inch wheels ??? say bye bye to traction

I have 245s on the back of my 335, and its true it shreds the tires with TC off haha. But I got the PSS 245s with the wheels for a great price. As soon as I burn through the set, I will upgrade to wider tires

I agree, and find the "will it fit" threads frustrating when someone chimes in that they fit their 22x16 ET5 wheels...an exaggeration, of course...but whatever crazy wheel they've got on their car requires stupid camber and a narrow tire stretched beyond comprehension.

Haha I have the same on my stock 189s, when I bought them the 245 MPSS were like $60/tire cheaper than 255. I hook up fine at ~380whp and the ease of spinning them is fun with people in the car.

If anyone with hyper black has pics to post please share. I'm torn between hyper black and hyper silver, leaning more towards black. I've seen pics of them looking both dark (almost anthricite) and light (almost silver). Unfortunately I haven't found a set of hyper black locally to see them in person, I have however seen hyper silver in person.

I've got Hyper Black ARC-8s on my Black Sapphire Metallic 335i and am super happy with them. I'm running 18x9 and 18x9.5 with 235/40 and 265/35s. I've also added some 12mm front and 5mm rear spacers and am very pleased with the fitment.
This pic is before I installed the spacers. I'll try to get some updated pics after I get it all cleaned up. Been raining too much! |

I don't think you can go wrong with either color! There are a ton of pictures on google or even instagram if you do a search for the #arc8 hashtag.
Hyper Black reminds me of the finish of the style 65 wheels (E39 M5) or style 67 (E46 M3), gunmetal in some lights but polished silver in other lights. The only wheel style for our cars that came in a similar color/finish is the 313m of the 335is, which IMO looks damn good on your color blue. For any other color car I would say go Hyper Silver, but with Montego Blue you really could go either way and still achieve a clean OEM+ look.

For the EC-7, do the 18x9et31 and 18x9.5et35 sizes have the same concavity profile?
