Quite - I know all fuel passes the same QC standards, but I'd only use supermarket fuel as a last resort. Shell (+ points) for me every time

Nice! Just dismiss an entire region out of hand.

I can't remember which channel I was watching last night but some "experts" predicted fuel prices could reach as high as £2.00 per litre by Dec 11 unless there is government intervention on current tax and duty.

Go to any refinery, fuel depot or terminal and you will see all of the company takers filling up at the same points. Each company then has small dosing pumps which add a few litres of their special additives at each stand.

The Optimax, BP ultimate etc. takers tend to fill from exclusive points.

OK, so not wishing to get into a political debate about the pro's and con's of yesterday's budget, but has anyone ...........as in anyone.....noticed fuel prices go down by 1p (or indeed any multiple thereof) since yesterday?

My usual forecourt had diseasal at 138.9 yesterday at 3pm and at 9am this morning it was..............138.9! And......., since when has all the petrol and diesel consumed in this country come from North Sea production anyway, so how come, they are footing the "bill" ???

No wonder the country's FUBAR.

I thought it was quite amusing watching George Osborne on tv trying to convince us he's saved the nation 5p per litre because it was scheduled to go up 4p anway. Why not say it was scheduled to go up 99p so he's now saved us £1 per litre wtf. Spin city

Funny thing is he put it up 3p a litre last month, and then boasts how he helped us by reducing it by 1p a litre .......... still making 2p a litre since last month ........... What a JOKE !!

They knew you were going to say that so also introduced a Lear-jet tax at the same time (seriously they did)
