Who are you asking? Valdivita and I both have aftermarket 8"s under the seats. He used sws 8s and I've used Renaissance WR-8s.

When do you want to get it done? I'm supposed to be doing some coding tomorrow. I can't see this being more difficult than DPs on an n54!

supposedly it's easier. shockin330i gave me some tips, but I needs me some freakin tools and a place to do it. I'm on the hook right now for Vishnu's first batch of their new 3.5 dp... so, it's not in my hands yet. just shouting out to jville peeps for help when it comes in. we've got to meet, sounds like I can learn a ton from you... if only I could get a break from working. again tonight... pulling an all nighter...... sux

You can ease into the modding if the wife minds it...for the time being you could always come out and hang out with the crew...typically 1 or 2 cars are being modded while every one else is there for moral support |

haha... ok. good to know. I'm up there pretty much every day either at 6:30 am or later in the day after work. I've been married for a long time... and the wife knows she can't change me... been dinking with cars, trucks motorcycles for years. it all started with a 5.0 back in '91......... I've got a string of mods still on the list, most I do in my garage. Will be changing rotors soon to slotted, (may paint calipers)... Monday/Tuesday is a SMG M shifter retro, stainless ///M pedals maybe by the weekend.... The n55 dp has me in knots because I don't have access to a lift, and I'm not gonna wrench while it's on jack stands in my garage...
I'm curious what's on your lists ... but I'm certainly no stranger... :-) I'm off Millhopper. I'll pm you my email as well. nice to meet ur acquaintance, hell since u go to that gym, I prolly kno ya...

Mods-wise I have adhered to the BMW performance line, and I still have a few more to go. I'm very reluctant about power adders at this point since my car can barely put the power down without breaking loose...it even spins 3rd during quick shifting. I may need better/wider tires and/or an LSD before I even consider adding more power. Have you considered using ramps to swap out the dp? I just had a buddy last week come over to my place and we swapped the exhaust on his 135 by backing it up on the ramps. If we had enough clearance for an exhaust swap, I'm quite positive that should be enough clearance for a dp swap. You're more than welcome to try my ramps if you'd like, however, hanging out with the fellas at Brett's garage makes for a fun time. I own a townhome at Villages of Bartram Springs (across the school), but my family lives off of Magnolia Springs Ln, so I'm all over the place in Bartram Springs. I agree, I have probably seen you at the gym before. |

@Etien - btw - I detest door dings too and avoid 'humanity' just the same. I'd rather walk a long way, then to come out and find one... that being said, now I know who to park next to to protect at least one side. (you are welcome to as well when I'm there before you)
still can't get over how many weird instances are going on here with our experiences... freakin twilight zone sh!t.......

I'm free the weekend of the 12th. Anyone else have some work to do? I know we've got an oil cooler to put on Singlt-t's car.

As always, I'm down to help and for moral support no new mods for the time being unless they release the new performance steering wheel before then, which I'm definitely getting.

No M-tech wheel for me, Performance wheel for me...I already had this one but sold it for the one that will get released this spring, which is the second generation:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...1&d=1260732221 The second gen is flat-bottomed, all alcantara, and has upgraded LCD and LED's! Can't wait |
