I was a little concerned after reading all the huge numbers in this thread, but $96 on my '07 335, $76 on my G/F's '06 325. Not bad at all.

Isn't it funny how MA was pretty much the birthplace of the american revolution over taxes yet now you are all being taxed like nuts?
I guess the only way of avoiding this is finding a job and moving out (easier said than done). Or, keep paying taxachussets your money and hope one day residents wake up and vote the f.a.g.s. out who used your money to support pet projects. I just finished my taxes, got a nice rebate and paid $0 to NH "Live Free or Die" |

Was born and raised in Massachusetts. Went in the military more than 40 years ago and the state kept sending me annual bills for the payment of excise tax. When I asked for a reprieve because I was not in state, the reply I got was something like: Since you have MA plates on your car, you must pay the tax. Shortly, thereafter, I put TX plates on the car and changed my home of record to TX to avoid the Excise penalty.....I've never looked back.

you should be fed up with all government ! if your state isn't feeling the squeeze yet, your lucky, however it is there you just havent seen it with the media, as they are owned by government indirectly.

out of the money remaining, they also want a cut when you buy a car.. tax #2 ...then they want protection money from you every year if you want to keep your car driving on our nice roads.. tax #3 ... or if you drive the mass pike pay up too! or filling up the gas.. triple taxation! I think the British taxed us less in 1775 and we started a war over it!! |

move someplace without the taxes then. Somalia is beautiful this time of year. Or buy an island with no roads or other services.

Uh....you move to someplace without taxes as this country wasn't built on paying taxes. Try researching why American's pay Federal Taxes on your Labor....uhm....that law was passed back in 1929 when all the law makers were away on holiday. I am sick of the people saying if you don't like what is happening then move out.....NOT....this country will eventually wake up and kick the slackers out, kick the big government out and become a power again. If I want to pay for entitlement, then let me pay for it locally....I can help my neighbors instead of paying uncle sam to take my $1 and give $0.05 back to the person on need after paying all the cronies the other $0.95....your government is a scam. Pretty soon...the Amero will be implemented as all our government and new world order plans are coming true.

We have taxes now because our needed to grow up. You can go back and live in 1850 if you want. I'll stay right here. Quote:
