I have logic7 in my car...and just gave it to the dealer over the new software update so they gave me a loaner. There's a big difference in sound quality at low and high volumes, and i really miss the 2 woofers beneath the front seats. Logic7 also seems to do a better job at drowning out outside noises as well.

I have a 2011 335 xdrive...Logic 7 audio is awesome. I think they were recently purchased by Harmon Kardon which was good in my previous BMW's but there is something about the Logic 7 sound that makes the driver (and passenger) feel like we are in the midst of the music. No comparison in the stock sound systems.

It is the same system and the same Logic7 processing since 2006 but with another OEM name since 2011.

I'm happened to experience the Logic 7 retrofitted into the E60 ... Over all, this is not my favor.

The system is tend for the hip hop & rock .. not for the acoustic music.

The good point is in the base .. extremely deep & powerful.

Down side seem to be the mid & treble .. too hard & not musical for my ear.

Surprising at the price tag .. too much for the brand name... for that amount I have experienced much better system.
