Anyone running 17x9 ET 30 with 255/40 all around on pre-lci E90 stock sport suspension and spacers in the rear? I have bridgestone re71r, which are similar size to the same spec continental. Wondering what sized spacers I can squeeze in there. I ran 20 mm spacers in the rear on style 162 and the spacing was very nice. My Arc 8 sit back from the fender a bit. Looks like I could get a 10 mm on there, maybe.

We do recommend the 17x9 ET30 with 255/40-17 tires and no spacer as a direct fit. If you already have the wheels and tires mounted on the car, the best bet would be to measure from the outside tire edge to the inner fender lip and subtract 2mm. This will let you know exactly the spacer size that is required for your setup. There is not really a blanket spacer recommendation since every car is setup a bit different with respect to ride height, alignment, tire brand and compound. How to measure for spacer size I have included a link to a photo that shows the ideal way to measure for a the proper spacer size needed. - Max

Hyper black 17x9 ET 30 wrapped in 255/40 /17 Bridgestone RE71R, wheels coated in Gtechniq C5 and BeadMaker, tires treated with Chemical Guys VRP. Thanks to everyone who replied to my questions in this thread, definitely helped me make some decisions. I still think hyper silver would have been a better choice, but too bright for my neighbourhood!

Anyone running 275 in the back, on a 9.5" 35 offset wheel, on an E92 LCI, with no rubbing?
If yes, which tires are you using? I'm looking into the Indy 500, and I can't figure out if I should get 265 or 275. |

I think 275s will rub on stock M-sport suspension, but should be fine if you have coilovers.

I know what Apex's recommendation is, but wanted to get some feedback from people who are running this setup. |

No way dude, you made the right choice there
Those tires look super wide for a 255 (which isn't all that surprising). Almost looks like a 265 or even 275 all season! Reminds me of this post on the Miata boards lol https://forum.miata.net/vb/showpost....5&postcount=16 What tires did you have on there before? Have anything to compare them to from a width perspective? |

Put together this short clip of the car. It has some great shots of the EC-7.

Hey Expert@ApexRaceParts I totally forgot...
When upgrading to the F30 370mm BBK with your 18" Arc-8, am I needing a spacer in the front/rear? Thought I remembered seeing 5mm for the front was required but not 100%. Thanks!
