Have you received your money back yet? Who are you suppose to get it back from? Evotech or Creative?

Where did you do your dyno ADHD? Did you do it at DynoComp? Also, what octane level of fuel did you have in your car at the time? Did you manage to repeat it in the past few days?

You gotta love how one blames it on the other.

Now, EvoTechUSA is claiming that they didn't authorize their vendor (Creative) to use DynoComp's dyno? LOL, the SAGA CONTINUES.....

I bet you anything that the ECU flash was designed on a Euro 325i which does have a different engine than our US 325i's.

Subject: FW: DynoComp and EvoTech's ECU upgrade for 2006 BMW 325i (E90)

I have been in touch with both Dyno-Comp and Creative Autoworks regarding the E90 ECU flash. We at EVOtech USA have yet to offically rate the software gain, but can vouch for the authenticity of the Dyno Comp flash. EVOtech Germany has seen similar gains, so it comes as no surprise seeing such a large increase. It apears however that 2 other car dynos made only approximatly a 20hp gain. There are many factors that play.....
I think the euro 325i theory is entirely plausible...

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

But, hunter, how does the .5L discrepancy between the two engines make you so certain the 325i ECU flash isn't for the euro 2.5L?

I hope that isnt what really happened but maybe it would account for hunters initial a/f issues?

Hmm... thats an interesting thought... If I remember correctly... initially... hunters a/f ratio was running very very lean... which means there wasnt enough fuel for the amount of air... Which would mean not enough fuel for a 3.0 liter 325i, but maybe that would have been enough fuel for a 2.5 liter 325i. Cause honestly, I dont think just the Gruppe M intake would have resulted in such lean a/f ratios.

And btw... I love Mythbusters, lol!!

Uhh...way to let all of your imaginations ruin the facts. A US E90 325i was dyno'ed at DynoComp in Arizona...and THAT car supposedly posted 40+ HP gains.

It wasn't a Euro car, but a US 325i. Let's keep this on track.

Maybe they installed the incorrect reflash (software) on Hunters's and ADHD cars. What if they didn't noticed that they were using a reflash intended for the Euro 2.5L instead for the 3.0L? Maybe they used the correct one on the car dynoed at Dynocomp. Just my 2 cents! (wishful thinking)
