It's from Seibon Carbon - they called it the VR-Style carbon fiber front lip.

I got it on sale for nearly half price from their website and now that I've gone back to find you the link it would appear that they have discontinued the product - they did have to double check their stock when I made the order.

The only one I see on their page now is the TA-Style which is just the splitter types.

This is the next closest option I could find but I cannot comment on it's fit and finish. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32578309514.html

The Seibon one actually rolls up just beneath the fog lights for additional support and fits very well. It was also pre-drilled and fit the factory holes perfectly. I recommend the product if you can find a used one.

There should be a way to reset the fluid monitor in the maintenance section of Carly. I have a Foxwell tool if you wanted to meet up somewhere (I'm also in CT) and try that.

Yep, but I think with the stiffer dampers now they've finally pushed my ball joints to their limit

Everything suspension-wise aside from the B12s are still the originals from when the car was built in 05. They're long past due at 137k

Wow, if your are talking about what I think you are saying, you are going to be be doing a complete suspension refresh.

That's a sh@t ton of work, and very expensive if you are talking about m-parts vs stock.

Might I suggest :

Bilstein B12 Kit
M3 Front control arms
New tie rods
New strut bearings

New upper, upper shock mounts
New upper, lower shock mounts
New lower shock mounts
New rubber spring mounts top & bottom in the rear

New bushings in the rear subframe (8 total I think)
New M3 control arms in the rear
New M3 subframe bushings
New M3 differential bushings
New rear control arms

New bushings for both the rear & front sway bars
New adjustable front & rear swaybar end links

New M3 bolts where there are M3 control arms

You are probably talking $2000.00 in parts and at least 3 days work, if you have never done it.

I'll look a little more closely and let you know how I make out. Appreciate the offer either way.

So I checked it out, never noticed the obd 2 feature. It reads no codes found where the regular Carly scan shows the code. Kinda weird. Important thing is the car runs mint so I guess I'll just ignore it, no cel's or anything so should be easy to do. Thanks for the heads up.

Oh trust me I know.. So far I've done the B12 Pro Kit with all new mounting hardware (all shock mounts and spring sests). I'm an xi so I'll be purchasing fcp euros suspension refresh kit + end links for about $400. Depending on what deals I can find I might just try and go stock all around. We'll see. Either way it wasn't something I was planning on doing until next year.. I think the stiffness from the B8 dampers finally pushed the ball joints to their limit. Not looking forward to my empty wallet nor the install.

Got the B12s for $740, about $200 on the mounting hardware, and now another $400 for front so far, hoping the rear can wait till later..

This spring I used Lemfoerder upper and lower control arms, tie rods, and sway bar links and have been quite happy with them on my xi. Bavauto had all that for $550... before they shut down :/

Some day I'll get around to doing subframe bushings, engine mounts, diff bushings, sway bar bushings, etc... but even at 165K they're holding up pretty well.

Today I retrofitted Active Cruise Control (works fine with my 6MT!), and finished reinstalling my repaired LCI headlight

This evening I have finally reached FBO status with full flex fuel capability.

Now to let things settle and run some logs in a few days and see where I'm at.

Nice, now upgrade the lpfp so you can run E40 and let her scream.

I dont know about molygen, not much review, ''projectFarm'' youtube channel didn't test it yet, and internet talk shit told me to stay away on that product. But, I need proof if its good or not.

In other hand, I'm using liqui moly leichtlauf, since people reported a reduced oil consumption on problematic engines, like all 2.0t vw engine, subaru 2.5t 2.0t and srt-4 engine. tested it and found that was true; on my 2.0t, I had to top-off about 3 times in 8000km, now only once. Normally, oil suited for diesel engine in gas engine are more heat resistant.
I got my 5L for 38$ cad (28$usd) which makes it a no brainer.
