Absolutely no regrets here.

Don't be fooled, those 325's are fast man!! If you have Steptronic, put the gear into DS mode, step on the gas, and you will know what I mean.

This is B/C of the money factor or interest rate that they give you. On the 330 is lower than on the 325.

Why? So far BMW N.A. has soled about 21,303 325 in 2005 and only 10,262 330s. 325 sales better than 330.

I totally agree! My 325i will get up and get out of its own way with just a suggestion!

The funny thing is, I wasn't looking to get one. We already had the 2004 E46 and we love that but my wife and me were out driving when she said she wanted to see what a Z4 looked like. We stop in to a dealership and a sales guy is on us before the doors close. Feeling like playing, I play the game with the guy and finally (and with a lot of attitude) he says, "OK fine!...I'll take $1500 off the car and give you $500 over Blue Book for your truck, what now?" My wife pipes up and says "Throw in the power seats and we'll take it...but only if you have it in red"...I love that girl! Anyway he complied and...well...here I am posting to the E90 forum

Wink

I'm surprised at how the difference in the way the exhausts of the 325i and 330i sound isn't mentioned...I drove both cars on one occasion and I feel the throatier tone of the 330i exhaust alone over that of the 325i justifies the premium (amongst other things as discussed)!!

8 years with my 2006 325i, I'm still happy with mine. No regrets at all. Only 62k miles.

So funny looking back on this thread now- to think the 328 vs 335 wars have been well underway for the last four years!

I know this thread is a bit on the dusty side, but since it's up again, what the hell?

Same here man. My 325 just had it's birthday in July. 8 years old and 115K miles. My dark lady's a work in progress as I'm still in the throes of modification and I am completely bent on completing what I started. Although it doesn't possess the power of it's bigger siblings, it's still a treat to cruise around in. I'll be keeping it for a loooooong time.

Same here, I just have 198,000 more miles on my car.

Well my only regret is I'll have to retire it and replace it soon as my DD. Been struggling on what to get.

Not sure on the pricing but you can get the 325i, 3 stage, AA tune, and the tisher 135 bbk (Brembo) + custom exhaust of your liking and you sit pretty similar. Maybe it's just me but I can't "not" mod my cars. I got a 328i with the above and huge difference!

No regrets whatsoever. I am dreading the day of buying a used f30 4 cylinder. I rather have an inline engine.

Purchased 325 used at 49,000 miles for $17,400. It now has 120,000 miles and the only major problem it had was a waterpump. Most reliable car I have ever owned.

Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

After almost 10 years and 66k miles with my 2006 325i (i'm the original owner), I think about trading it in but find it difficult to get rid of the 325i, it still runs and looks like new. Maybe I'll keep it as a 2nd car.

I'll never forget way back when, probably 2007, when someone said we 325 owners ought to just kill ourselves (cuz there was a thread mocking its torque numbers being like from 1990).

Looking back, if that were true, what should 320i owners do? At least the 325 is a nice inline 6. Be happy that you have a I6. Today one has to spend 55k+ just to get one!

First off any one who thinks a 325 or 330 is fast is wrong lol for you even thinking that, thats exactly why you have a 325 or 330

335 or m3 shits on both of those models any way you look at it

My advise is anyone looking to get a bmw dont go 325 or 330 because its cheaper spend the extra money and get a 335 or m you will not regret it

Bmw is break my wallet for a reason if you want a car good on gas get a civic
