Call Diffsonline.com they rebuild and replace BMW Diffs for race teams. I called them later last month cause I thought I had a bad Diff as well. Turned out that it was a bad driver side rear wheel bearing. They had a rebuilt diff for a E90 330i for about 675.

Looking at your post, wanted to ask you if you noticed a significant improvement when you changed spark plugs and ignition coils? Also, why did you change your Cam shaft position sensor? was it faulty? I recently swapped my vanos solenoids and noticed my car its smoother now. I will be changing spark plugs but I wonder If I should change the coils since I am close to 100k and running like a champ. My valve cover gasket has a small leak nothing major and problably can wait since oil level remains ok for the last 5 months. Cheers! |

That's awesome that you did that conversion! Do you happen to have a write up! 1k for 335i brakes vs 500 for replacing mine dpesnt sound too bad.
My 2006 330i ZSP- Auto has 92k on it, no problems expect for the a/c compressor going out but I fixed that :P it went out at 85k. I'm going do a lot of stuff to the car at 100k hopefully |
