To OP, part of me says cut your losses and move on, but most of me says to go all out on this guy and make the biggest fool and most public example you can out of him, over a $45 item. Depending on the cost of making him into a fool, it might be worth it. You know you'd find it entertaining.

am I reading his post at the top of this page? He said he let it go, and he gave up on the dispute. Bummed that he didn't let paypal resolve it.

To me that indicates he conceded and gave him his money back. Am I wrong?
